Ideal for connecting telephone signal from router to rj45 cable system
But do not use with cables carrying other (e.g. ethernet) signals. This simply a way of going from a RJ11 socket to a RJ45 socket. I had an RJ45 cable running under the floor and un-used and so this was a simple and effective way of extending my telephone connection to where it was actually needed rather than behind the TV (where it was pretty well useless).

Great cable for connecting my Fritz! box
This cable feels good quality and I'm getting good speeds out of my Fritz! box router with it. Very happy for the price.

poor quality and does not work
I've just received this cable, and I was hope full it was better quality than the original TP-link modem cable, but I was greatly disappointed to find the cable does not work at all, I tested the cable with a fluke cable tester and which cleared showed on pin 2 was connected, I would not advise buying this cable as the build quality is extremely poor... and mind does not work and the quality of the cable its self is worse than the original modem cable

Does what it says
I was looking all over for a ASDL cable to Ethernet in order to work from home. This cable is perfect and I have had no issues what so ever.The lenght is also perfect and I have fastened it to the skirting board using cable hooks. Great product and good connection

Did not work
Item did not work. I bought this to move my Nan's router from the hall to her lounge. Plugged it all in, no signal to the router. Checked the original lead side by side. Same lead but this one never connected to the internet.Faulty item

Unbelievable
Having recently changed from Virgin cable to Vodafone fibre I was reading up on the ways to improve speed and came across numerous mentions of swapping RJ11 for RJ45. I was sceptical but for the price of a couple of quid I was willing to experiment. Attached photo tells the story. Now, make sure the thick end (RJ45) goes in the CABLE BOX (the one in the wall), and the RJ11 goes in the DSL slot in the router, easy mistake to make. Thank you rhinocables, quality product!
