How much powder = an average size sweet potato?

The average weight of a sweet potato is 4 ounces which converts to approximately 118 g, The bag states serving size, 1 tsp = 4g (36 servings = 144g) that being said the entire 5oz pack is less than two average sweet potatoes. So 29.5 tsp of powder = one sweet potato (average sized). Ya welcome!

Is this just for coloring and scent? Or can it replace ube halaya when making ube cake? I can’t find halaya so I’m hoping this will solve my concern.

This will give your baked goods the violet/purple color. It’s sweet potato smell. If you’re looking for ube taste/scent you need to add ube extract.
