What are the dimensions of the clear plastic pocket?

Unfortunately, the vest and hat were too small for my 5 yr. old granddaughter so I had to return it but I think the pocket was approximately 4 1/2" square. Although this vest and hat were well constructed they do run small. If you are purchasing for an older child I would recommend the Eagle Eye explorer vest which is available in in both 2 sizes and 2 colors (size small comparable to size 6/6x)

Is it worth the money?

Definitely worth the money! The vest is adorable, with good strong stitches, and not made out of cheap plastic.

Will this fit a 9yr old?

Probably not. Best for 4-6 or 7 year old .
