Takes two, preferably
Needs mechanically inclined person to help with assembly and more so when mounting the bike but not impossible to do alone. Bike gears work while in motion and resistance is also adjustable at the base. Great value and sturdy. I keep step ladder next to it to get on and off for safety.

Height, noise level and tension control
I’m 5’1” and installed our 26” wheeled bike and I need a stool to get onto the bike seat. The brace has to lift the rear of the bike off the floor so the wheel can spin. East to install. I bought this model knowing I have to adjust the tension by hand. Once I set my tension I don’t change it. If you like to change the tension of the back wheel while on your “ride” you’d need a different model. The back tire does make a high pitched whine as the company warned. I wear my earbuds to watch videos so it doesn’t bother me. Perfect product for me, a bike ride in the living room looking out at the snow.

Set up is made for quick release axles...it also comes with one in case you don't have one
Well it took about 10 mins to figure it out as the Manuel don't say too much...but.. I have to change my rear wheel axle to a quick release..as it seems the set up that locks it in is made for that....I have a nut and bolt....at this time only one side covers a bolt and the other don't....I gave a it a small test....and it held up...but i feel it would have a better grip with the quick release axle as both sides would be locked in secure...so will up date this as soon as it's done. Oh and get a small step or something to get on and off the bike with. As you are now about four to five inches higher off the ground....so get a small step , or cement block to climb on... And climb off.....enjoy ur workout..so..I got my axle changed.. Bolted up and so far it works just fine..also just found out the stand ends can adjust to a uneven floor.. Not much but it helps...but it works great,so far..my 15th time using it...since I got the axle changed...it's great....a small humming sound comes from the motor. But if you lighten up on the tension...it's a lil more quiet...so far no issues... Gave this a AA+...So its may 17 -2020....it seems that a lot of people don't realise the tension can be adjusted with a turn of the knob under the motor.... Also if you have off" road tires , you will have a little louder noise...and if your bolted in properly and you don't get any resistance check the adjuster on the bottom of the motor...its seems ur not getting any contact with the wheel motor.....

Great product
Works great for what I expected. Not sure about extra hardware that comes with it. Possibly there's a different rear will you can use not sure.

Well..
The instructions leave me wondering if Ive assembled it right. The product itself is fully assembled. I only needed to set the bike. 10mins at best. My problem is the height. My wheels (700c) are very close to the floor, just rubbing my carpet. The trainer height isnt adjustable. Prehaps. I will move it to a bare floor. Im not experiencing loud noise as heard in posted user videos. Sound is minimal. My biggest issue is the smoothness when pedaling. Update: Once I relocated my bike, I noticed my carpet "burn". See photo. Now I know why my ride wasnt smooth. I was digging a hole. I wondered what tat burning smell was! Lol 😆 🤣 😂

Easier than I thought
When I got my initial package the wrong item was sent, but it was quickly taken care of by customer service and I received a replacement in two days. After reading reviews I was afraid that it would be very difficult to set up and I had no idea how to change out the quick release rod. Thankfully the existing prongs worked for me so the entire thing was set up in about 10 minutes. Some commented that the noise would be muffled if it was on a rug or carpet. I just have a rug underneath it so I don’t damaged my floors. It makes no more noise than a stationary bike or bike rollers. I pop in my AirPods and listen to an audiobook as I ride. I don’t have any problem hearing. The bike is very stable which I appreciate. I had rollers and as I’m getting older the fear of falling is great. I feel very stable on the trainer. So far I’ve used it for a week and I really like it.

Perfect solution for PT
We wanted a reasonably priced but safe solution for physical therapy after knee replacement surgery. This magnetic bike trainer is working very well. We have it set up in the living room for the duration of the recovery. It gives my husband a very good alternative for his therapy. It complements the other exercises. There’s some noise from the bicycle but it doesn’t have to do with this product specifically.

I'm Overweight & This Does the Job
Bike set up: 27.5 21 Speed Mountain Bike My initial worry was that the wheels wouldn't fit because everyone kept bringing up the rod they give you in the box for quick release bikes. MY BIKE IS NOT QUICK RELEASE. I didn't need one thank goodness. Set up was 10 mins Max. I took away a star because of how loud it is. It's loud enough that if someone were talking to you in the same room, they wouldn't need to yell, but they would need to project. My second worry was my weight. The trainer is built well for it's price and small enough to slide anywhere. I'm over 400lbs and love biking, but I've moved to a downtown area that isn't safe to ride without being pro or having someone with you. This is just great to have a low impact workout without buying a stationary.
