I got this crinkle cutter for my baby’s BLW, and I’m really happy with it! It slices through potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, etc., way more easily than I expected—no need to use much force. The only time it didn’t cut all the way through was with zucchini that still had the skin on, but even then, I just gently pulled the veggie up while holding it, and it finished the cut cleanly. It’s my first time using a crinkle knife, and I love how the ridges make it easier for my baby to grab the food. It’s also dishwasher safe (huge plus!) and the size is nice and big, which makes it feel sturdy in the hand. Definitely satisfied with this purchase!

Increasingly frozen fries do not come as simply potatoes, they have large amounts of additives and often have gluten or are produced in plants that contain gluten. As it turns out, you can also crinkle cut apples, cucumbers, carrots, and just about any other item in addition to sweet, white, red, or gold potatoes. Excellent product especially for the price. You can crinkle cut just about anything from fruits, vegetables, apples,carrots,cucumbers etc. and it will make anything your making look beautiful. Definitely worth the price and better than any other crinkle cut product on here. This is the best one. It's very easy to clean and the handle makes it very was to hold and very sturdy. The handle also helps to make it easy to cut even if your trying to cut something extremely hard. I love this product and would recommend to anyone. Definitely purchasing more for family this makes a great Christmas gift for the holidays. Another thing I love is that it is extremely sharp but not to the touch so you don't have to worry about cutting yourself in the washing and cleaning process if washing by hand but it is also dishwasher safe. What a great cutter ! Ok, here is the deal. I make my own sweet potato chips and I use a madoline slicer or for those that aren't familiar its the thingy that lies flat on the table and you scrape vegetable against it. In my opinion they are all torture devices. I have ended up with bloody knuckles more times then I can count ! its painful, disgusting. I finally bought a mandoline with a holder that has spikes that I would insert into the potato itself and then slice but I found that I wasted a lot of potato that would be stuck in the spikes. Then you are left with how to get the end of the potato off the spikes without cutting your fingers, that's good trick. Yes, I used a knife and cut myself that way also. I swear I'm not clumsy. I suffered through this for years and watching the Food Channel a Chef had one so i was on the hunt. Having bought 3 mandoline slicers through the years both plastic and metal cheap and expensive all had the same knuckle busting result. FYI, they all do cut well. I was looking for a device that cut well and saved the top of my knuckles. I was at the point where if it costs a little more then so be it. After googling and figuring that the tool I saw on tv was a crinkle cut tool. Could the answer be that simple and being that this is so inexpensive I had my doubts. The handle is made of wood not plastic, the grip was comfortable and when I cut the sweet potatoes it was a dream. At first I washed the potatoes but found it made them slippery and I did not want that to impede the process and I did not want to cut myself. I am so very happy to report I found this slicer and fell in love. I no longer wash the potato before cutting and just rinse afterwards, making slicing and handling easier. Easy to clean up with a quick handwash. I cannot wait to use on other veggies. It has been a godsend. I have not even knicked my knuckles and no more wasting and you can control the depth of the slices. Such an easy solution.

This was bigger than I thought but in a good way! Using it mostly to make oven fries so I love that it can slice the potato into long fries. I think the fries turn out crispier cut wavy. Very sharp and easy to slice through. Bought to replace a smaller one I had, the kind with a side handle and this is much better.
