Great for braces and it can be remolded for changing braces.

Use for my 12 year old daughters lacrosse games. She has braces and didn’t like the full upper/lower mouth piece because it made it hard to talk during the game. She said the flavor is “yummy” and after molding (only took once) is comfortable.

I’ve got Invisalign and wear this guard for my MMA and krav maga training, where people often make mistakes in drills and end up hitting your face. This has done a great job, and allows me to speak in class too. The caveat is that remolding for each change is not always easy and sometimes I need a second attempt to get a good alignment. The dual rubber one (non heat forming one) is great for sparring, but this is my fave for normal classes.

I purchased this for my son right after he had upper braces put in. The instructions are very easy to understand and it worked well. The fit was comfortable. He was able to breath easier and talk with it in his mouth. After getting his braces adjusted we were able to mold it perfectly.

My daughter had previously loved the flavored mouthguards Shock Doctor offered before, before she had braces. We were excited/surprised they offered this flavored moldable style now also for braces, which was a new offering. Unfortunately, when we molded it, it stuck to her braces and pulled out her main arch-wire when she removed it. Thankfully, it did not pull off a bracket or cut her mouth. We followed the directions perfectly, and have molded this type of mouthguard at least a dozen times before. Needless to say, after we go to the orthodontist to fix her braces, we will go back to the unmolded type of mouthguard!

Says it’s for wrestling (and other sports), but most youth wrestling requires that mouth guards for braces cover both top and bottom rows of teeth. This mouth guard only provides coverage for bottom row. Thankfully this company makes a different one that does so, but I am disappointed that we wasted our money on this one.
