Worked like a charm!
85 Jimmy 6.2L At first I was just going to use a 30mm fwd socket. That was a no go. The return line tips could have broken off and if that happens you can not send the nozzle back as a core. Also the fwd socket is too long to fit on the nozzle with the AC box being in the way and too thick because there's a bolt head right next to each nozzle. Overall this is a perfect tool for the job.

Perfect for 6.5 Detroit
Perfect for 98 GMC K3500 with 6.5 turbo diesel. My hubby was thrilled to own one so he can do his own injector work. He said it worked very well. Best price I could find online or locally. Go for it!

Good but only 4 stars
The size is perfect it's thin enough to fit in between the injector and the cast in the head. Being able to use a socket wrench or open end or closed end wrench helps a lot in the tight places. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 just because it seems like it should be a shade tighter around the injectors. I had to screw the injector back in the head a few rounds just to get the socket off by wiggling It back and forth a few times because it was to tight to come out by hand. I don't know about all of them but mine could have been just a shade smaller to fit just right. All in all it worked for what I needed it for.

Well built
This socket works good, and will last for a millennia if you don't lose it. This socket is to long to take all of the nozzles out of a van while the engine is still installed.

Application specific, no doubt.
Worked like a charm. Got all the injectors out of the 6.5L Detroit Diesel though removal of the turbo and exhaust manifold was necessary in my 1996 k2500 4x4 Suburban.

It did it's job and didn't break what more can I say? The right tool for 6.5L turbo diesel injectors.

I would not recommend this product. Went to torque the injectors on my 6.2L diesel and it skipped over the injector housing almost stripping it. The picture is hard to tell but the teeth are almost rounded and the injectors do not fit perfect in it.
