JB Weld the best
It's JB Weld how can you go wrong with JB Weld I use it for all kinds of items I even use it to plug up a freeze plug leak in my truck and that was about 4 years ago no problem they make some freeze plugs are way too hard to get to to pull them out

Worked great to patch a small leak on my 8n Ford tractor metal tank.

Worked well and easy. I just mashed what I needed between my fingers and thumb or rolled it between my hands. The even color tells you it's done mixing. It sets up fast. Only time will tell if it stops the leak in the tank. It has initially.

Dose not work good on holes or large cracks

Had a dent in my motorcycle tank. Instead of pulling the dentni used this putty to fill it. It worked very well. Once I shaped it and painted it you couldn't even tell there was a dent. Good stuff. Will buy again if I need it
