Exciting and Delightful!
I was beyond happy to see Marie Lu’s Legend turned into a graphic novel! Legend: The Graphic Novel has all the fun ad excitement and thrills of its book predecessor! What’s even more astounding is that Leigh Dragoon, the adaptor of the Vampire Academy graphic novels, also adapted this one! Though, the illustrator Kaari, didn’t design do the artwork for those, she is still an amazing artist! The drawings are just so perfect! I’m not much of a graphic novel reader, just the occasional one here and there (and it’s usually one based on a book I’ve read! Lol!) but I’ve come to appreciate the drawings these artists do to bring life to characters I’ve only seen in my head while reading! It’s been over a year or so since I binge read the Legend trilogy, so I could only remember bits and pieces of it. But when reading the graphic novel, I was able to recall details fairly well! And I’m even more astonished with how well the story reads after its been transformed from a 300+ page book into a graphic novel of 160 or so pages. And it’s astounding, because the story practically reads the same! We see the same events and moments…and the feels are all still there! It’s incredible!!I love seeing the action scenes play out as well! It’s like watching a movie on the page! Which is funny because that’s how I read as well, like I see a movie in my head! But this time it’s in full color right in front of my face!Even better, when it’s been so long since you’ve read a book, when you go back to re-read it, in a sense, you can once again be surprised by a multitude of happenstances! Granted I could recall a thing or two, but there’s still that magic of seeing it happen all over again! Seeing the characters realize the secrets and such that have been kept from them for so long!Best yet, it does seem like this trilogy might be completed—tears over Vampire Academy stopping at Shadow Kiss, what a world we live in! As the second one is already slated to release next year! So if Prodigy: The Graphic Novel is just around the corner, hopefully that means Champion: The Graphic Novel will follow the year after! This is one read all Legend fans will not want to miss out on! It’s an incredibly fast read, but ultimately amazing!Overall Rating 5/5 stars

Well done!
Okay, so I'll be straight with you. I loved the Legend series by Marie Lu - a well-written story with amazing characters. I have an assignment for my graphic novel class to write a paper about a graphic novel adaptation. I chose to go with Legend because I know the story well and I loved it.I wasn't disappointed. The artwork sets the right tone for the story, and Daniel & June are portrayed perfectly. Nothing important is left out. I loved this version, and I'm looking forward to reading the next two in the trilogy. Very well done!If you enjoyed the Legend series, then you should definitely give this version a shot.

Hooray!
I'm glad Marie Lu developed the graphic novel based on her book Legend. This put faces and features to my beloved main characters Day & June, but also made the story come to life.

Purchased for a gift.
Bought for my niece for a Christmas present. She will LOVE it! I read all three of the novels and was telling her about how much I loved them. She loves graphic novels and when I saw this I HAD to get for her. Will update after Christmas for her reaction. She is 16 and really into the anime genre but also greatly enjoys reading as I do.

Great to see the characters & scenes from the book series
I read The Legend Series, this was a great way to see the characters I love in picture form. It left out some parts from the book, but it was still a good read if you liked the series.

Comic version = Legendary. Ha
Yes!! I've been waiting for months for the comic version of the book to come out and I am very pleased with it! If you're a fast reader like I am, you will read it in one sitting. I wish it was longer and it did skip some parts but still awesome!

Graphic Novel v Original
I really enjoyed his book! Although, it did not even come close to being as good as the actual book. The one thing that I did not really like was that this version of the book skipped so many of my favorite little scenes in the original, which was kind of disappointing.

Legend
Praise for Marie Lu's Legend. The drawings were also really great. Day and June are a great pair, although one thing was that it was so fast in the graphic novel.
