Nintendo Switch Lite - Grey

Arrived quickly and securely and everything seems to working ok. However I was a little concerned when I opened the package to find it was for the japonese market with both the box and instructions in japonese. Also had a japonese charger but the company provided and English adapter. Hopefully this won’t make a difference but think this should be included in the description so you know before you order.

Still good in 2025 Feels nice to be able to play games wherever, build quality is pretty good, joy cons so far no issues, screen is about as big as a large phone screen now but it’s definitely sufficient. Been enjoying things like GTA SA, RDR, Splatoon and Mario Kart on it, very nice. Battery life I’ve not measured but is like 3-6h from experience. As someone knowledgeable in Nintendo, this is much more worth it than getting a Switch 2 is, you get tons of games with support and the online services are active.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a fantastic choice for gamers who prefer a fully handheld experience. It's compact, lightweight, and super comfortable to hold for long gaming sessions. The build quality feels solid, and the screen is bright and crisp—perfect for on-the-go gaming. It plays nearly all the same games as the standard Switch, and performance-wise, it's just as smooth. I love the huge library of titles, from classics like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to indie gems. The main drawback is the lack of TV connectivity and detachable Joy-Cons, which means no motion controls or tabletop multiplayer out of the box. If you're okay with a strictly handheld setup, it’s excellent—but if you want more versatility, the regular Switch might be better. Overall, the Switch Lite is a great value and a perfect second console or primary option for solo handheld gaming. Just know what you're getting.

It's a handheld only that doesn't connect to the HD TV from a Nintendo Switch Docking device if you try that.
