Is this gauze self-adhering?

No! My spouse uses this for leg wounds and we have found that using a piece of the self adhering stretchy band wrap works best to secure the gauze. One time around the arm or leg, if the wound is elsewhere tape may work. We have found most tape, does not stick to any gauze we use. We have tried muliple brands and types of tapes.

What is the best way to secure this to a wound on the arm or leg?

There are few ways, 1)Twist with your previous layer ( efficient and easy) 2) Use Tape We don't recommend to use clips(with sharp teeth) since the layer is not as thick as elastic bandage, you may get hurt. According to your question, We have realized that our product needs a fasten item to make our product more convenience for our customers, and we will solve this issue for the next lot/batch product.

Does it a latex in it

Thank you for asking this. I was just going to and there YOU WERE ahead of my time. I get nervous when a product states elastine or elastics or spandex etc and does not state the negative as in LATEX FREE. I hate it when a company needs to do that because some who do not share their latex contents has caused us numerous problems over the many years our house has a need to be latex free. (Since 1953.)
