I have purchased four of these now. Two had to be returned due to damage in delivery, one has a frozen compressor after just a year and the fourth has a broken compressor at just under a year in service. Waiting for Elkay to follow up on warranty claim.

On our historic site in Georgia it can get really hot in the summers and we were only selling bottled water. This water fountain is wonderful! It's already saved over 200 bottles (It has a counter on it) because of the bottle filler and our guests love it. It was easy for our maintenance man to install and the shipping worked out fine. No dings in it when it came in. It keeps the water refreshingly cold. So far so good!

It seems like the unit I received was either refurbished or was a return at some point. It had a corner dent in the outer frame which is no big deal, but it also arrived with a bad compressor. I'm sure this is a one off issue, but I am not happy to have installed it only to have the compressor develop a seal leak and lose the refrigerant/oil out almost immediately.
