Best out there for 4S+
Love these. You have to know how to solder and have a pretty high power iron to solder them correctly with thicker gauge wire, but if you can do that these are the perfect large RC connector. Rip out the middle connector you won't use, and they are perfect to standardize to EC5. SO much easier than the EC5 connectors you have to solder then push into the plastic connector housing; the plastic on these tolerates soldering temps without flinching, even if you have to get pretty heavy handed with the heat. Price is a bit of a ripoff, but for this quality, who can really complain? The best cost more than the rest.

If Your Using Connectors These Are It!
Not really in the Spektrum ecosystem but these IC3 & IC5 connectors are probably the best option for 1/8 scale. Plastic takes a lot of heat before melting and plugs are 5mm gold plated. Easy soldering tabs and bottom skirt hides and cleans up the look of the connector. Ive never melted one of these but I've also never melted EC5, XT60 & 90 connectors either. Got these on sale for $7 and back a month ago they were $30! Definitely worth the $7 price. Works with EC3, EC5 and SC5 connectors, they are backwards compatible.

Better than EC5, authentic Spektrum product.
I've learned a lesson. EC5 connectors work, but do not have the same heat resistance as authentic IC5 connectors. I'm replacing all EC5 connectors to IC5. Things like this are worth the price.
