How do you open it? It has a pull out drawer?

the one I purchased does not have a pull-out drawer. I have to take the cutting Mech. off to empty it.

Is this the "White Edition" model 1043W?

The one I got was white........the picture on the left is what I got.... exercise caution, be sure it states clearly if is cross or strip shredder, which ever you prefer, they have similar models that do one or the other

Seller, where is this made?

Do NOT buy this shredder. We bought it as a Christmas gift for our son in 2020. The color, size, listed capabilities, and price were what he wanted. It died four months later.
