I wasn't sure what to expect with these. I get extremely dry mouth when I am in stressful situations, even if it's something I don't think should be stressful. No amount of drinking water or mints or gum helps. Along with the dry mouth I lick my lips a lot, which creates a vicious circle where I am getting "dry" saliva on my lips and it quickly becomes kind of gooey, so I'm then wiping my mouth, which makes me self conscious and it keeps going. It's very embarrassing in social situations. Chatgpt (my new best friend) gave me a good explanation of the stress response and made some suggestions what to use. When I came to Amazon to look for those products, this popped up so I thought I would give it a try. I am very surprised to say it works. Not 100% but I would say around 90% which is a huge improvement. I just pop one in my mouth before or during one of those stressful situations. It discreetly attaches to my gum and lightly coats the inside of my mouth. The disc itself lasts about an hour and the moisture level after wards is about the same, so generally enough to get me through a stressful situation. I have also used it at night and it has helped so I'm not waking up with dry mouth. Will definitely keep this in stock for myself.

I had dry mouth at night so bad that I'd wake up with my tongue sore from sticking to the roof of my mouth, and many of my favorite foods started tasting bad. My doctor asked me why I had lost so much weight and I said because nothing tastes good! He said he had the same problem and recommended this product. It really worked! I probably still have dry mouth, but not so much that my tongue is sore all the time, and food tastes good again! btw, I think the reason my dry mouth got so bad was another doctor over-prescribing vitamin D. I have to take it for my osteoporosis, but I don't need nearly as much as I was taking. I still haven't figured out the optimal amount of vitamin D to take, but this product was a lifesaver!

I not only like the product but I need it. I sleep with a Cpap mask. When asleep, my mouth drops open so that when I breathe, my mouth dries out. Xylimelts helps in keeping my mouth moist while sleeping. I've used these for several years and have always been pleased. I have one recent concern develop I'm keeping an eye on. One stick on melt has always lasted the night. But with my latest purchase, they seems to dissolve too quickly, than before so that by the time I awaken, my mouth has been dryer that usual. I hope that it's just this lasted purchase and they have not changed the formula or ingredients. I'll need to update at a later time my findings.

I've been using these at night, one on each side of my mouth. I have bad allergies + dry mouth so in the morning, my mouth typically feels like chalk. These melts help tremendously. When I wake up, my mouth is just a little bit sticky. Occasionally it's even...normal? It's been so many years I don't have a measure of "normal".If you have a small mouth, these are a little uncomfortable no matter where you place them. They may irritate your gums if you put them too close to the front of your mouth. On occasion the adhesive takes a bit longer to stick. Once it's sticking, though, it lasts all night.They don't have too much taste. Very, very lightly minty sweet. They seem to work best on your upper jaw so the xylitol can trickle down to your tongue and help trigger the production of saliva.I use these at night, two or three Biotene lozenges during the day, and it's sweet relief.

Great concept but I subconsciously rubbed the tablet with my tongue until it was raw during sleep. Had to change back to ACT and break it into thirds. The raw tongue is gone.

The melts helped so much. I have dry mouth because of the medications I take. The melts helped with the problem. I use them right before I go to sleep at night. And when I wake up in the morning my tongue is not sticking to the roof of my mouth.. I recommend them to anyone with dry mouth.

I learned of these from my holistic dentist office in which he had free samples in his waiting room. I ended up not ever trying them for quite some time just because my dry mouth wasn’t that difficult to handle, yet. I needed up giving them to someone I thought could benefit from them more if they worked. Well, I started to have really bad nights where I’d wake up several times with my mouth wide open nearly choking I was so dried out! I always had problems with mouth breathing but it seemed to be getting worse.
