How to Babysit a Grandpa: A Book for Dads, Grandpas, and Kids

This is the larger format of this book. The smaller is a bit cuter and slightly different. However, both are adorable. I read this book to and with my one to currently three-year-old granddaughter over and over again during her visits until she'd memorized the events and passages displayed on every page. Invariably completing the sentences on the pages as soon as I started them. As well as being reassured that her mother and father would soon return and relieve her of the responsibility of babysitting her grandpa.

My 3-year-old granddaughter loves this book! I thought that she might be a little old for it since it's a board book, but she loves the story line. The story is short and cute and even addresses the separation anxiety when Mom and Dad leave. She asks me to read it at least once every time I am at her house. I also purchased the "How to Babysit Grandma" book. My granddaughter has a baby sister now, so when she gets a little older, she can enjoy them too.

I bought this book for my dad’s birthday from his grandson. It’s such a sweet feel good book with beautiful illustrations and great ideas for hanging with your grandpa!

I ABSOLUTELY love reading this book to my 2 year old Grandson! The book is full of fun "facts" that most Grandkids and Grandpas do together. Playing, laughing, eating cookies and ice cream and even taking a nap. This book is well written and illustrated. I love this book so much I'm going to purchase the "How to Babysit a Grandma" next. Can't wait to see what we do. This is a must have!
