In stock here while "my" dealer is out of stock
Have ordered this twice and have had good experiences both times. The item arrives in a sealed container, together with a nozzle and a key for winding up the end of the tube as it is being used. Material is fresh and easy to work with.We just had an opportunity to remove a Toyota 2AZ-FE oil pan that we had installed using the sealer from our first order. There aren't any oil or coolant leaks anywhere on that engine (following a short block installation). When we removed the oil pan a year later (to repair an item unrelated item to the short block), the sealer really worked great, that pan was "stuck on good," as they say. So I have no issues with going back to reorder this item from this vendor.

What can I say it's the best stuff on the market
My background: ASE Master Certified Technician w/ L1 and X1 certifications. Previously Lexus Senior Certifed, Toyota MDT Certifed, Nissan Certified and GM Certifed. Now in an Electronics and Instrumentation field but a die-hard fan of this stuff. What can I say it's the best stuff on the market. Was introduced to it while I worked at Toyota and Lexus dealerships and since then I have continued to implement it no matter what the manufacturer of car I'm working on (or own for that matter).I've long since switched fields but have used it in industrial applications since. Don't bother with any of the other brands "Ultra-Black" products or any claims that its the same product - it is not.A curing time of 3-5 minutes before torquing is all it takes. I've seen technicians add fluid 5-15 minutes after gasket install with no problems (leaks) using this product. As for myself I like to let it sit for about an hour before I add any fluid that will come into contact with this product. For the absolute best seal allow vehicle to sit overnight and you will have a seal that will outlast the engine. Another nice trick is that this product can be used with paper gaskets, OEM metal gaskets: (we implemented this technique all the time at the dealership with zero comebacks), and Asian valve cover gaskets (the factory repair manuals call for it on some OHC setups with a rubber gasket ex: camshaft plug, corners where the rubber gasket rides around the camshaft bearing caps). Concerning the paper gaskets here's the trick: squeeze just a pea sized amount onto your index finger and using a small amount of pressure smear the sealant across a section of the gasket. What you are looking for is a paper thin, uniform thickness. Repeat this process until one side of the paper gasket has been covered. Remember your not trying to "double-gasket" here, your just looking to create a tacky surface that will aid that paper gasket in a more effective seal. For best results, complete one side and then mount and press the gasket onto one of the surfaces, then lightly coat the other side of the gasket. This will help with ease of installation, easier cleanup, and will ensure an effective seal.As far as the product yes it's that good and worth every penny. I swear you could mortar houses with it.

This is What YOU Want instead of gaskets.
The media could not be loaded. Use this for anything that did have or should have a gasket. Just follow instructions to add to a Prepared CLEAN Surface firstThe. Let sit a bitm put together but Don't actually Torque bolts tight. Some say 20 min others 1 hourm then final torque. This builds a gasket whatever you needm. It's good stuff thoughm used for this whole engine.

Great sealant and oil proof.
I learned about this sealant from a U-Tube video. Works wonderfully on sealing oil cover and valve covers. I used to use "make a gasket", but this is now my go-to sealant.

Very effective but tube broke during first use
Used to seal water pump on sequoia, works great, but the tube broke on first time usage. Common issue

Better use this on your Toyota engine
I replaced my valve cover gaskets after watching how-to videos and reading how to posts. Most of them stressed using this but I figured the gasket sealant I’ve used for years was up to the task. I was wrong. After a painstaking cleaning and detailed installation, the covers leaked worse after my repair!I bought the same gasket kit and replaced them, again, but made sure to use this stuff. I now have a perfect, no leak installation.Further investigation of Toyota forums confirmed this stuff is a must for Yota engines. I’m sure it would work on other OEMs but I haven’t tried it. But I’m sure I will…Performed as expected, sticks to parts and can go on thick or as a skim coat depending on application.
