I have the brassiest blonde hair that's not all blonde and nothing has toned my hair better so far! I've tried Wella, Kiss, Loreal, even Redkin and then some and this has been the best so far in my opinion! I was using the Punky purple mixed with conditioner to tone my hair but decided to try this instead and im happy I did! And this stuff smells AMAZING! Like bubblegum! Plus when I went to wash it out I put a little bit of water on my hair to lather and OMG! I did not want to wash this stuff out it was so smooth and just felt amazing. It did leave my ends a little purpme/blue but I guarantee that's from the purple Punky concoction I made before since it was a hint of purple before I even started. Highly recommend this product and no I'm not getting paid for this review lol

Nice conditioning treatment on my freshly bleached hair, however no progress reducing my warm tones. In fact, I'm pretty sure my hair became brassier. Bleached my hair twice with L'oreal quick blue bleach and 20 volume developer to reach my desired lift, from medium brown to a dusty pale yellow. The second bleaching was a bleach bath with one ounce of shampoo and the regular proportions of developer and bleach defined on the packet. My hair had been saturated with coconut oil, and I rinsed it out with warm water before bleaching it, knowing that the toner calls for clean dry hair. After the bleaching was complete I rinsed my hair with lukewarm water to remove the bleach and any remaining oils and then waited for my hair to dry. When my hair was completely dry, I applied the colour creme in it's pure form, with my dye brush and gently combed it through after saturating my hair with the product. After fifteen minutes there was no progress, so I covered my hair with plastic. At thirty minutes I checked a strand and it seemed to have neutralized the yellow a small amount. I decided to leave it on for an hour, and at the hour mark my scalp was getting irritated so I washed it off. My hair was marvelously silky, but the dusty pale yellow reminiscent of a European child on the beach in summertime had darkened to a dirty copper blond after it had dried. I have the mixture of three parts lemon juice and one part conditioner in my hair in hopes of removing the bronze that this toner apparently deposited. Leave the mixture in for an hour, blow dry, then shampoo and condition as usual.

Reviewing the PLATINUM TONER Left my hair in great condition after highlighting at home. It made a huge difference to the outcome of my highlights, making them look like they were done in a salon rather than at home, so would definitely recommend and would use next time also. I've had lots of compliments and people asking me where I get my hair done! A couple of things to note: The toner doesn't affect the colour of natural unbleached hair, but makes the bleached sections shine bright by reducing the copper/yellow glow. I left it on for 30mins and although it looked a little blue when it was first washed out, it was fine after it dried out. The smell... is not my particular preference, it smells like artificial grapes/grape candy. It is not unpleasant but it is quite a strong scent. I've had compliments on it though. Finally, I have very dense and fine shoulder length hair and one pot of toner was just enough. For longer hair that is bleached all over (not just highlights) you may need 2 pots to get good coverage.

I was disappointed by this product. I was expecting so much because of all the reviews, but since I picked the platinum blonde TONER and not an actual color, I think that's why I didn't like it. The consistency is like a runny shampoo and that's hard to apply to dry hair, It needs to be a more thicker/goopy product. The price does not match the amount that you get. It's way too small. My hair is thick and about my shoulders length and I would probably need about two to three jars for my whole head. I just wanted to control some of the yellow tones in my hair but in the end it just made my hair purple so now I have to use a clarifying shampoo to get all this purple out. And I only left it on my hair for 15 minutes. I would recommend the L'Oreal everpure purple shampoo and conditioner. That one will tone out yellow and orange tones without leaving a purple hue. Also Fanola no yellow would be a much better product than this. This was my first time trying punky color and I will not be purchasing any more products from them.

Smells great. The gel like texture makes this easy to scoop up with my fingers and quickly apply to my hair. This toner actually works and takes the brassiness out. Love Punky Colors. Colors are beautiful and last a Long time!

I love this product, the colors are great too. I start in my roots where the brass color is usually hanging out. If my ends need it too I usually apply (however usually my ends are pretty platinum blonde, it's the roots that I am after). The parts of the hair that are platinum can turn purple, which I don't mind having that lavender look for a bit as it washes out after a bit. The smell is wonderful. I have short short hair so it takes half a container to cover the brass spots. So for me one container is two treatments. I follow with the shampoo if needed. This time it looks like I may not have to. Photos: First one is my hair after. I did my roots because I had a bright purple in my hair so I just wanted the ends toned too. My roots are less yellow, but I need to use the other half of the container to get it toatch my ends. The second photo, looks okay. However it is Yellow! So I was so excited to get my toner and get that toned out. It may be hard to see, sorry not a professional photographer. It did take out that icky Yello look and I am happy with this product!

I give this 2 stars because it's not as good as I thought it would be. I was excited to get this and use it on my bleached hair but I was very disappointed because it didn't work that well. The reason why I bought this was because it says it'll tone brassy/orangey hair. It didn't quite do that. It just left a very good scent on my hair but did not take out the brassyness of it. I expected it to work and a lot of people said it worked on their hair, but it didn't for me.

Toned my blonde to a nice ash color. Only needed one little jar to get full coverage. The first one is the after and the second one is the before.

It's easy to use and I repeatedly buy it because it gives me the results I need. I have darker roots inbthe back and I use it to lighten the roots to more closely match the platinum natural colour of the rest of my hair

Does the job. It does tend to turn silver/gray quickly so be careful not to leave it in for too long.

This is the best product I've used to get the brassiness out of my hair when I bleach it. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it here on Amazon, because Shoppers where I live no longer carries it. It smells like bubble gum!
