Lever 2000 Bar Soap, Aloe & Cucumber, 4 oz, 12 Bar

I didn't like this soap. Long time ago I bought lever. And it was the lather,scent and mist love I had. It had incredible lather last time I bought it. This one not one iota of lather. I was angry. Because I was expecting a great lather.

Add on Aloe Vera Lever 2000 made in Mexico formulation is definitely a different formulation than the US variety. The packaging, texture of the soap, smell of the soap, look of the soap are noticeably different.I bought three of the twelve 4 oz bars packages because of the cheap price. This lathers like my homemade soap that I make when I do not add special ingredients to increase the amount of lather in them. The lather in the Mexican version is definitely less than the US formulation. And the Mexican version is definitely more drying for my skin than the US formulation. I use Aloe soap all the time. I have made aloe bars from scratch. Aloe is an excellent moisturizer. There is something off about this formulation. It is not as moisturizing as the US version.It made my skin feel itchy and that is a first for me using Lever. It feels like the old fashion homemade Lye based soap that is made with too much Lye, or has not been allowed to cure properly (still has active Lye in it). Lever has always been moisturizing for my skin. It is the main store brand soap that I use. I have a cabinet full of my homemade vegetable oil/vegetable butter based soap. I buy Lever because I love it, not because I need to buy soap.The very first ingredient is tallow, which is beef fat. Tallow is used in a lot of US soaps, instead of the vegan soap I make. Ivory is made from Tallow. Tallow normally produces superior lather than a lot of vegetable oils based soaps, which is why many prefer it in their soaps. So, I can't explain why this soap does not produce great lather. This soap definitely remind me of a cheap hotel soap. I am very disappointed in this purchase. I will be buying the regular bars from the store, not from Amazon to be safe. I would not want to get another wonky formulation. These are going underneath the cabinet for emergencies use only, i.e., I have run out of soap. I thought that this purchase was a score, but it was not.

Love this pack of soap! Bought it for less than $8 for 12 bars so that’s a bargain. Has a great light scent and it also great for washing your hands because you don’t have left over surfactant like with liquid soap.P.S. Some might think I’m weird for this but I’ve also hand washed some clothes with this soap, which makes them smell so good.

First time buying soap from Amazon...This stuff is disappearing from the shelves locally, so I think production has been stopped.Get them before the price goes up.Yes, it's not as good as the previous version in the box, but you don't have too many options if you like this type of scent.

Handy size, great scent (I use this as hand soap in our assorted bathrooms) and an unbeatable price.No heavy perfume or medicinal deodorant smells, just a pleasant hint of cucumber to refresh the nose. Does a fine job cleaning one's hand, the size is just about perfect.As bought in a bulk pack, the price was stunningly friendly too. Tuck a multi-pack under your sink and you won't need to buy soap for a coupe of years most likely. I find these bars really hold up to daily use.I've been using Lever 2000 bath soaps for more than a decade, can't beat the value or the quality for everyday use.

I must use either Lever 2000 or one other brand as I have staph infection that manifests in my skin. I was directed by a doctor many years ago to use Lever 2000 or the other brand, and have had great luck with the Lever 2000. The other brand left my skin dry, whereas the Lever 2000 leaves it moisturized without feeling sticky. I also like the smell, both of the original and the aloe vera scent. I will buy again.

I started off with Sensitive Skin Dove but it dried out my skin and I was constantly itching. Tried regular Level 2000, did not itch that much. Glad to have found the Cucumber and Aloe one, works much better for me. They use to sell it at Wal-Mart and the BX but no longer so I was glad to find it at Amazon

When I was 18 someone told me that if I want to smell good, Drakkar. Years later, my grandfather told me, if you want to smell like a man, tap water and bar soap.
