Leadingstar Women's Casual Party Fit and Flare Midi Dress

Oh my goodness, this dress is a knockout. Very beautiful and flattering. The material is silky and clingy but not too thin. It is tight in the chest and gets looser toward the bottom. I bought this as a gift for my sister to celebrate her recent weight loss and Bc she has been looking for a red dress but I think I want to order one for myself as well now.Sizing: I am 5'4 / 125lbs / wearing medium but it's a little big. If I was keeping for myself I would get a small. She is 5'7 / 140-150 and I think medium will fit her perfectly.

**Please Note, the belt shown in the pictures is not included with the dress, that was a separate purchase**I picked this up for my wife. It looks great, and fits her well. I ordered the small, she is about 5'2, 130lbs for reference.The only area the dress looked odd was at the waist seam, as the dress is a bit looser there, but the addition of the belt shown in the pictures made that a non-issue.The length is a modest cut (about mid calf), perfect for the company Christmas party we have coming up. I took a chance that this black dress would fit and that I would like it, even though the price was way under what I would have paid at a retail store. I absolutely love it! The fabric is mid-weight and hangs beautifully and the waist is somewhat empire, but I like that because it covers my problem mid section very well and is very flattering to my figure. I usually wear a size 14, and I'm 5'6". The XL fits me perfectly! The length on me is about 4" below the knee. I like it so well, I'm going to order the Burgandy one also!

I am 5'4", 137 pounds and 36D. I originally bought the Medium, but sent it back for the Small. I now have it in 4 colors. It is perfect since it is lightweight for the summer without being see-through. There is no bra built in, I wore a strapless bra. It flows and drapes very nicely. I wore the purple one to a wedding yesterday with a pair of rhinestone sandals and a rhinestone bag. It was very pretty!

This is a beautiful dress. I have tried other dresses from this company and I have not been disappointed. I am a dancer and love dressing up for dancing. This is the perfect dance for dancing or a night out. I wore this on a Swing night and got so many compliments. The color is rich and very pretty. The material needs ironing after it comes out of the bag, but it is easy to get out the wrinkles. It is very flattering and the material moves with you. It is a tea-length dress with long sleeves.I love this dress for dancing or a date night!I hope that this review has been helpful to you!

I really like the looks of this dress. Goes well with a variety of shoes and jewelry. Fabric is soft and comfortable. Sleeves are a bit long but I like the look of them pushed up. Only ding on this dress was that it arrived with a piece of the dress sewn into one of the mid seams. Not sure how anyone could miss this obvious problem but it did miss QA somehow. I had to rip the seam slightly to pull out the sewn in piece and then restitch. Not noticeable on the piece where it was sewn unless you look for it. But I like this dress so much I'm keeping it.

This dress looked really cute in the pictures, but the waistline is too high. It goes right across the fullest part of my bust, not even an empire waist. I looked at the side seam and it is approx 4" from underarm to waist, needs to be at least twice as long to be at the waist. It will be going back.

For reference, I am 5'4" and weigh 111lbs. This dress is made of good fabric (not too thin) that is stretchy and comfortable. The waist goes in at your rib cage, a little further up than the top of your hips. The skirt portion is pleated loosely. The dress is a bit too lose on me, but there was no size extra small available. The shoulders fit fine, the arms are just a bit baggy, and the top portion of the dress is a bit loose. The length is also longer than I was expecting, but I still like the dress.
