Terrific choice!
I purchased this because I wanted a high quality to bake my first focaccia loaf. It was superb! Iโve already recommended it to friends.

Pretty good
The taste is mild. I'm still trying to find one that taste like the high Italian restaurants that taste like total butter, dipped with the Italian bread. Color is good & good value in my opinion. I bought a 2nd bottle this week.

It would be GREAT if they could simply put a Harvest date on the bottle in English.
Not a totally bad product... But way better EVO's are out there. After I jumped through the hoops top decode the Harvest date I found it was nearly two years old. It would be GREAT if they could simply put a Harvest date on the bottle in English. On the plus side it does taste OK.

Great olive oil. Less than great price.
This is an excellent high-quality extra-virgin olive oil. I really like it. It's too bad that Amazon has seen fit to increase the price over 37% in one jump. A six dollar increase. It is hard to imagine the justification for such a dramatic price increase.

Love!! My go-to olive oil!
The flavor is fantastic, use it as a finishing oil for pasta, salad and more. I also cook with it as it taste great and why use a cheap olive oil for cooking, you can taste the difference. This oil is really delicious and I have tried so many, some costing 3 times as much. I always stock and use this one, quality and the flavor are spot on!

Worth every penny!
This is an outstanding oil, worth every penny. I'm an amateur chef and while born in the USA, I'm of Italian decent, so I grew up in a house where olive oil was used in copious amounts. I typically by e.v.o.o. on the budget end of the spectrum. My local market sells its own label for about 4 bucks a pint and it's actually not too bad, there's just nothing special about it. I saw this Arbequina on a cooking show on PBS and they raved about it, so I thought I'd splurge for once. I was amazed. The subtle yet complex flavors that my old brand lacked were eye-opening. It also coats the salad leaves so much better when making a dressing. Imagine painting a house with cheap paint, then using a high quality paint that coats evenly and perfectly. Everything clings better instead of making a watery puddle in the bowl. I didn't have the date issues others had. I received mine in May 2016 and had a Use By date of Feb 2018, a good year and a half (but It's already half gone after a month) It's probably a little too costly for most of us to fry with or use for other high-volume cooking chores, but those are times when the budget stuff makes the most sense anyway, because you'll cook away the subtle flavor benefits. Save it for salads or for that final drizzle on roasted veggies or bread to get the most out of it.

Harvest Date from 2 years ago
Bought in may 2022, received with harvest date of Nov 2020. That is very old for a premium product, it no longer taste like premium olive oil. Nothing wrong with California Olive Ranch, more to do with Amazon selling really old stock.
