Just What I Needed
Fits very snug around the neck on my Squier P Bass. Screw holes dont line up perfectly with the original ones, but just use a drill and fasten the new ones in and you’re in business. Came with a thick bass pick

Does not fit American Performer Precision Bass
This pickguard does not fit an American Performer Precision Bass. It looks good, and the screw holes match, but the American Performer has a tone knob about a half an inch from where the pickup would be on another variation of P Bass. I attempted to modify it, and ended up cutting the screw hole too big. Also, the hole for the pickup was left over and would have been an unsightly hole in the pickguard. Also, the truss rod access hole is not cut just below the fretboard where it meets the pickguard. However, that modification was easy.

Doesn’t fit.
I had to cut the pick guard just to get it to fit around the pickups, once I got it on about half screw holes lined up. I just ended up putting the original pick guard back on.

Great fit
I'm guessing most of the bad reviews that say it doesn't fit are trying to put this on Squires, which the description even says it will not fit. Fits perfectly on my 2020 MIM P Bass. Great deal for the price

Measurements are not correct
You get what you pay for. It looks good, but the holes were the incorrect size the the screw holes did not all align. I had to use a dremel to make the holes for the pickups larger because they would not fit the factory pickups. It was not just that they were not located correctly, the holes themselves were too small. I also had to re-drill several holes into the body for the screws because they did not align with the factory ones. It seems to be a good pick guard for the price, but if you are not handy and able to modify it then you probably want to look elsewhere.
