great for low tones
after buying this mouthpiece for use in a drum and bugle corps i instantly fell in love with the tone quality. low notes come very, very easily but it cuts off the extreme high range. excellent mouthpice but might look for something with a smaller cup (this ones HUGE) because it take a lot of air to control
