I used this to freeze 8mm pipe (with jacket and clips) so I could add a stop end. I tested it out first on spare pipe which stayed frozen over 20 minutes. 8mm pipe was at bottom of full central heating system at 1 bar. No leaks during the job. Plenty left for next time. For 15mm I would test it first on spare pipe. Advantage of this is that the regular plumbing spray is over £10 for 150ml. The disadvantage is that you have to have the can inverted for freezer. The pipe I was working on was along ceiling so I needed to extend the tube coming from the spray can. Fortunately I already had some flexible plastic tubing I could use.

Works fine freezing pipes. Just need a good sealed jacket and invert the can.

Used almost all of a 750ml can with a jacket on a cold radiator pipe. Didn't work for me. Tried topping it up after a few minutes, still didn't work. When I removed the jacket, it wasn't even cool, no ice at all. Needless to say, it's not on my 'buy it again' list.

So far I've used this item as freezer spray to locate thermal faults on several items of audio equipment with good success. I bought the big can and still have lots left. However, I could do with fabricating a trigger to hold the can upside down because after a while it becomes a bit uncomfortable for my wrist. Overall it worked great for me. I thoroughly recommend this product.

Ich habe 2 Dosen des Druckluftsprays gekauft und kamen auch schnell an. Keine Beschädigung am Paket allerdings waren auch bei mir die Deckel beschädigt (beide) wie bei ein paar anderen. Verkäufer kontaktiert (Antwort innerhalb weniger Stunden) und nach etwas hin und her bekam ich den Preis für eine der Dosen erstattet was ich fair finde. Die kaputten Deckel ließen sich einigermaßen gut flicken mit Tesa und halten wieder. Das Produkt selbst ist sehr gut. Habe es schon ein paar mal testen können und da ist ganz schön Druck hinter! Wie jemand anderes angemerkt hat sollte man nach dem Schütteln einen Moment warten um nicht das Kühlmittel zu verspritzen. Auch die Kältespray Funktion geht einwandfrei. Praktisch ist der zweite Knopf mit Verlängerung um auch an schwieriger zu erreichende Stellen zu kommen. Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden mit dem Produkt und gebe 5 Sterne trotz der Beschädigung, weil ich eine angemessene Entschädigung bekam und das Produkt ansonsten einwandfrei und funktional ist.

En contra de muchas opiniones escritas por otros usuarios, calificando este spray como muy malo, debo decir que, o no pidieron/recibieron el producto refrigerante, o que no tienen ni la más remota idea de para que sirve. En las instrucciones pone claramente que si se usa con el spray hacia arriba solo sale gas a presión y sirve para sacar el polvo..., y si se usa invirtiéndolo, cabeza de salida hacia abajo, sirve como refrigerador. Se usa normalmente en la reparación de productos electrónicos. En electrónica hay averías intermitentes que se producen solo en caliente o en frío. Rociando con este spray sobre el componente sospechoso de estar provocando la avería, ésta se manifestará al enfriarse. En mi vida profesional he usado diversas marcas de este tipo de producto y la verdad es que ésta es la que en relación calidad precio es la mejor de todas. No se si llega a enfriar a -50º como anuncian, pero la superficie enfriada se vuelve blanca, con una ligera capa de escarcha. Concretando, para mí es un producto excelente y recomendable y me ha ayudado a solucionar la avería que tenía. Sin duda volveré a comprarlo.
