La Lune Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil Carrier Oil, Liquid 16 Oz

I purchased this product because a co-worker of mine, who's known for always having the scoop on the best beauty products, raved about it one day.I love that this oil is unscented. My sister is very sensitive to scents and can't use regular coconut oil on her hair because it's too strong and makes her nauseous, but this fractionated oil gives her no trouble.The consistency is always liquid, almost water-like, so it's quite different than the coconut oil that I'm used to. A little goes a long way and even though it moisturizes well it doesn't leave an oily residue. I use it as a moisturizer for my body and hair. I've used it on my face at night and never had an issue with breakouts.La Lune Naturals emailed me a recipe book with my purchase that has given me all kinds of ideas on how to use their product with things like essential oils or other natural oils (like jojoba) to make a number of masks, scrubs, conditioners, etcetera at home. I could easily have a total La Lune Naturals spa day with all of the ideas they gave me.Also, I'm quite impressed with La Lune Naturals as a company. I reached out to them with a question after I received my order and they got back to me quickly and took amazing care of me. They've 100% convinced me that quality and customer service are a priority for them. I was looking for a good carrier oil for my essential oils blends. I usually use sweet almond oil for my blends but since I am giving a lot of them away I didn't want anyone to have any allergies if I used a nut based product.What's to love? I really like the price of this and just how many blends I was able to make with it. I've tried it as a light moisturizer and makeup remover. I liked that it came with the free pump and it shipped as described with a coupon for a future purchase.What's not to love? Well, lets start with the fact I don't really know what's in the bottle. In the world of aromatherapy and just how much is has rocketed in the past few years, there are unfortunately people taking advantage of the prices with un-pure and synthetic products. It's hard because this product has no smell and it doesn't state if it's safe to cook with. And with coconut oil becoming so popular, many local grocery stores also sell liquid coconut oil that is safe for cooking. As far as this product goes I did like it but compared to other carriers and regular coconut oil, it didn't soak into the skin as much as I would've liked. The bottle also leaked through and came out of the protective plastic wrap.

This order makes the third time I've purchased this brand of liquid coconut oil. it always arrives before promised or on time. The packaging is always secure, there are never any leaks of any kind because it is shipped with a tight cap and the pump twist on is packaged with it. I use this oil in so many wonderful ways. I use it as a carrier oil for my DoTerra essential oils. I use it instead of lotion after bathing, I use it in my hair (it's one of the only oils that penetrates the hair shaft), I use it for personal lubrication and I've never had any issues. It is a medium chain triglyceride and as so, it not only crosses the blood brain barrier adding in cognitive functioning, but it also acts to protect the body since it is a antifungal, antimicrobial, antibacterial and an antiviral. It is has inflammatory benefits, adding in heart health, digestion, and obesity prevention.

I bought this to add to my dogs' diet for skin and coat benefits. They tend to have dry flaky skin, especially my doberman who flakes everywhere, the lab also itches,,, a lot. So after doing some research I decided to try this. It comes with a nice pump so I could just squirt a bit in their food and call it good. It probably lasted 2 or 3 months giving them 6 squirts a day give or take. I decided not to continue buying it because I didn't see any change in their coats. On another note if you are like me and hate the smell of coconut then this is for you because it has no coconut smell AT ALL. Which was great.

It's fab having a coconut oil that stays liquid at room temperature but beware: the pump is cheap. The slightest movement of the bottle will cause any oil left in the spout to drip out onto whatever the bottle is sitting on. I've been trying to find a better pump so my bathroom surfaces from being oily all the time, but so far no luck. Maybe I have a defective pump - but if you buy this product, just take care where you store it until you know if your pump will leak. Other than that, I'm happy with this. There's only a very slight smell, so if I want to wear perfume, the two odors do not clash. It soaks into my skin quickly and doesn't leave me shiny and greasy.

I was excited to try this product.. Ive been using jars of coconut oil for skin and hair but of course they solidify and i ended up having to take chunks out with my finger nail.. This is a liquid which comes with a pump or screw top lid.. Easy to use, spreads well on the skin and rubs in pretty quickly.. I dont think i would use it on my face under make up, feels a little shiny. Do use it at night on my face.. Have used it on my hair with a shower cap.. Hair felt good after a wash. No smell at all but i believe it can be used as a carrier oil for essential oils.. I just use it plain. So far so good.

This product is incredible. The luxurious feel of this product is amazing and since it is odorless and non-staining, you can use it in just about situation. It won't ruin clothes and doesn't compete with any fragrance you may be wearing but it will make your skin feel like silk and look very young. It is an excellent product for daily skin care but that's not why I bought it...I have a lady who is the love of my life. I wanted to give her the massage of her life. She loves coconut oil for it's properties but I don't care for the smell. So I purchased this product and mixed it 50/50 with scented massage oil essence. Well suffice it to say, I had the girl of my dreams muttering OMG for hours. And when my baby is happy, she makes me happy---VERY happy.
