Rosamonte Traditional Yerba Mate Con Palo (With Stems) 1kg (2.2lbs)

My favorite Yerba at a good price for a good size bag and great quality.

I've been a fan of Rosamonte yerba mate for years, but since moving to a different state, I can't find it in any stores. This brand is quality. The taste is strong and potent, and because it's loose tea, you can make it as strong or as light as you want. You can use a French press, brew it in the coffee machine, use your own tea bags, or make it the traditional way. However you make it, I don't think you will be disappointed with this brand.

So I cannot leave a comparitive type review as I am new to yerba mate'. I bought this to "try" the drink as it is so popular in other countries especially Portugal, Brazil and Argentina. I read that it has many health beneifts and has the same good polyphenols as wine. Yes its full of caffeine but hey, gotta have some every day. I have made several cups so far and while its not my favorite taste, it does have a nice kick to it. I suggest you buy the proper brewing cups and follow instructions. It seems of good quality and value. Im not sure if its normal but the mate does have alot of stick type materials in it. It reminds me of lightly ground hay. lol. Sort of tastes that way too but from what Ive been told thats how its supposed to be. I prefer to add some honey to it.

Nada mejor que tomar un mate a la mañana, o en el momento del día que prefieras, trabajando, estudiando, viajando, siempre es una excelente elección y la yerba Rosamonte es una buena opción para ello. Si bien los sabores de las yerbas serán mas o menos satisfactorios dependiendo de los gustos personales, esta yerba es un clásico argentino.

Great tasting mate. Can refill maybe 10-15x with strong flavor.

Muy bueno; fuerte y de buen sabor, pero no es para alguien que va empezando a tomar mate; para ese caso mejor ve por la versión suave o un compuesto como un CBSÉ naranja o miel. Además de que tú agua no debe pasar de los 80⁰ si te pasas, se quema y se vuelve más amargo y ácido.
