Can I use primer coat on this product after sanding and using adhesion promoter? Or is there any product application between this and primer coating?

Good product. You can use primer over this product, myself, I use an epoxy primer for flexibility. Which can be reduced and used as a sealer as well.

I need to repair Metton on an old snowmobile. Will this product work? I see the product number is 5895 for the 5oz but x5887 for the other sizes?

I'm not sure what" Metton" is I used the 5887 on an unknown, to me, thin hard plastic material and it's just OK. I think it's meant for softer plastic type material like flexible plastic car bumpers. I think it will be ok on my application because it's in an area that should not see too much abuse. Good luck.

What is the correct applicator?

Hi Juan! Thank you for your question. There are three available applicators for this product. You may wish to consider the manual options; the 3M 08571 Standard Manual Applicator, or the 3M 08117 MixPac Applicator. There is also a pneumatic option; the 3M 09930 Performance Pneumatic Applicator.

What solvents or cleaners do you use for cleanup? I may use a squeegee applicator with this product.

Before it’s actually cured it can be easily cleaned up with Mineral spirits or lacquer thinner. Plastic spreader is what I use to mix and apply product. Also a paint stick works in some area’s.
