I want to buy more than one... Do they stack and lock together?

Yes they are stackable and each unit has a locking tab on it. The box they come in states they stack and can lock. They are also wall mountable.

Is there a place for you to write the name of the DVD on the inside?

The inside of each "book" consists of 12 DVD sleeves, each sleeve can hold two DVDs. You can see the DVD through the clear plastic. If you wanted to list the DvDs you have in each "book", your best bet is to use a stick-on label and affix that to the "spine" of each "book". Not sure if that helps answer your question...

Will the cover/text insert fit into each sleeve along with the DVD?

It will, if you only put one disc per sleeve. I just loved how much more room it gave me. I threw away a whole garbage bag full of cases!
