Plus Size Sheer Pantyhose for Women 20D,1-4 Pairs Durable Tights

Having a rare allergy to cotton and wool, and being male, the options open to me are also rare. When first diagnosed, I began to get very frustrated at the fact that I couldn’t find anything for men that didn’t include, or was made entirely of cotton. Dermatologist who diagnosed me, told me my only option was to start shopping in women’s clothing. I was able to find plenty of men’s outerwear like shirts and pants made from synthetics or nylon, but underwear was totally impossible to find in nylon for men. After years of spending tons of money trying to find the solution to my problem, I finally did with these. I was able to get a perfect fit and size range. My allergy problem is rare, but I’ve read many articles of both men and women, with many different kinds of problems that make wearing nylon a necessity. To those who may fall into this kind of category, I highly recommend these. It took years and much money to finally find my solution. Don’t go through what I did. These are made well (including very visible reinforced toes), fit well, and come in many sizes and shades. They are also reasonably priced, and are available in single or multi packs. All around, good quality and plenty of options. As the designer of pantyhose (Mr. DuPont) designed them to replace garter belts, panties, and individual stockings for each leg, it eliminated the need for underwear (panties), garter belts. To me they are my socks and underwear. I read that most women wear them wrong, and could cause problems. The gusset is there for air circulation, but by wearing panties under pantyhose, the air circulation is cut off. Excessive heat and moisture can cause problems. Thanks Mr. DuPont, and the manufacturers of these pantyhose. My life has one less problem to worry about.

Fits, feels a bit loose at first, but clung well to my skin and body. I normally don't wear panty hose, but purchased this one for a uniform when I wear the skirt instead of the pants. It makes all the scars on my legs disappear and makes my legs look rather nice and sexy. I love it. I'm 205lbs and 5'6" usually a size XXL, or 20 in pants and these fit well.

These may be the best thing I've purchased in a long time! Their claim: "ultra soft ... comfortable" My experience: This is true! These felt wonderful against my legs, and I have never said that about pantyhose before! I wore these for a wedding for TEN hours, they remained comfortable, and honestly, I didn't even notice them. Their claim: "appearance for flawless, natural looking legs" My experience: Yes, this is why I wear pantyhose - to smooth out the appearance of my legs and to give just a touch of color (nude is darker than my skin). They looked natural, smoothing over any blemishes and softening my skin color. Their claim: "Truly Plus Size." YES!!! It is is incredibly difficult to find plus size pantyhose. If they fit the legs, they don't fit around the belly, or they are short, not reaching the waist. These slid up my legs nicely and the waist band was easily pulled up to my bra band. This way, there were no lines. Their claim: "High quality and durable ... made to last." Yes! I don't know about how long they may last, but they got me through ten hours. Here is what convinced me I was going to be fine in them. When i removed a pair from the package it snagged on the cardboard - I was ready to toss them - but the snag disappeared. Then as I put them on, *I* snagged them a couple of times, and the snags just disappeared. There were no visible snags, no runs, no tears, none of the issues that happen with pretty much every other pantyhose I've ever worn. They went on easily, they were truly sheer with a hint of color, they felt nice on, they held up. What they did NOT do is support the tummy. These are not control top pantyhose, but I don't believe they are described as such. It may be why they stretched out so well to fit so nicely. That's ok though, because I intended to - and did - wear support wear over them. The support wear just slid over the pantyhose. It may seem silly to give such a glowing review for pantyhose, of all things, but I hate to wear them, rarely need them, and as plus-sized, apple-shaped, tall woman who finds most things difficult to fit well, these were a pleasant surprise. The size chart was right on. For reference, these fit a 5'8" apple-shaped 300+ woman who currently wears a size 24 or 3X in clothing.

First I will give you the facts. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, weigh 250 lb, I have a 60 inch hip line, and I carry a lot of weight in my thighs and my calves. I ordered an 8 x in these pantyhose in suntan. My daughter's wedding is coming up in a week and I just got a chance to try them on. I put send the socks underneath to protect them from my feet weather in need of some care, and I used thin medical exam gloves to guard against snags to put them on. They are shear but they seem to be very sturdy and they are soft as a baby's bottom. The sun tan shade is not garish in any way, in fact my husband said they look nude. they did camouflage a lot of my hyperpigmentation spots on my legs which I am grateful for. because I have fibromyalgia and I'm very sensitive to any kind of restrictive clothing I ordered these in the biggest size I could and there was enough room in the top for me to pull them up to wear my bra ends and I could tuck them under my bra and add a high-waisted panty tucked under my bra all to assure that they won't ride down. The real test is wearing them for hours at the wedding and I'm hoping that they hold up well. It's going to be a hot day for this wedding in Arizona and I know I'm going to melt but I am bound and determined to look my best for my daughter's wedding. It's not easy at my size but it is doable now that manufacturers are hearing us making loud demands for clothing made just for us. I am happy with my purchase. I can't address whether you should order true to size or larger to because I just can't stand restriction so I went to the extreme to avoid the fibro pain that tight clothing causes. I had read several negative reviews on these as well as some positive ones, and I wasn't going to order them. I looked everywhere and came back to these. Truth be told everyone has an opinion and you have to take some of those opinions with a grain of salt so I jumped in with both feet, pardon the pun, and they appear to be a success. I did not enclose a picture because I'm not about to display my Romanesque body half-nude on the internet. the only reason I didn't give them a 5-star rating is because I haven't actually worn them and 'road-tested' them yet.

Size was an issue...and they dont stretch. Very thin as well...im always afraid of ripping them...

These just arrived, and I decided to try these bad boys on and see if they are as fluffy friendly as advertised. THEY ARE! My specs: I'm 5'4" and 378 lbs, hips 72", bust 56"(B+ cup). I would describe my body shape somewhere between pear & potato. Size purchased: 8x Color: Suntan. My first impression was "These may be too large." (not something you usually hear from me). But, once I got them up to the groin area, I was glad I followed the size chart, getting them up where they should be was no struggle at all. There was a small amount of adjusting, but that's typical for pantyhose. I may have been able to go a size down, but I have no regrets getting the 8x. Hose: There is SO much stretch and space in these. I was able to not only pull them up over my ample buttox and stomach without issue, but I was able to pull it up over my chest (I am not busty, but you could fit DD's up in the top of this thing) and it stayed in place as I walked around my house, with no rolling or slipping. The legs are delicate but if you're careful it will be fine. Mine did snag a little on both my dry heels & hangnails (guess I really need a mani-pedi). I did get one sang that made a small hole (again, I need a mani), but it did NOT create a run, it's only noticeable IF you are looking for it. The toes are reinforced and the top is quite sturdy. They are smooth to the touch and comfortable to wear. They went on easily and there was no excess tugging and struggling to get them on. If you are taller, they would fit you fine, there is plenty of stretch. Color: It has a lightly tanned look that I really like. 100% would buy these again!
