But they look nice, fit well
These for sure do not look exactly the same as the OEM sidemarkers. But they look nice, fit well, and are priced very nicely. My 2005 TL sidemarkers had been heading towards a slow death over the past 2 years now. The passenger side died completely quite a while ago and the driver side was extremely dim. Since the OEM ones were dead, I had no worries about damaging them during removal. A slim cloth wrapped screwdriver easily popped the tabs free, unplugged the harness, connected the new ones and clicked them in place. Done in 15 minutes....with the majority of the time futzing with the tabs making sure I didn't scratch or damage the paint/fender when removing the old ones.

Helps my TL stand out more.
I installed these on my TL about 8 months ago. Still works til this day no issues. Side markers lights on the TL usually go out so I feel like mines stand out more than others because of these.

Look good
I replaced the originals because one was not working. The original markers are 'clear', these are 'smoke'. The new markers look very nice with the grey/silver on the Acura. And the new lights are bright. Look around YouTube on how to replace the markers. I saw one which showed taking something like 6 screws out from the wheel well. Another shows how to use a butter knife to pop them out. I put blue painters tape on the car and used a butter knife to pop the markers out. The whole job was around 15 minutes.

Can I install it myself?
The right-hand light on my 2006 TL failed. The dealer quoted $157 to replace it. I saw the 2-light set on Amazon for $50, and the reviews. I did quite a bit of research on replacing it, and it could be a lot of labor for an amateur to remove the old one, having to remove a part in the wheel well to access it - look at the YouTube videos - this is why I gave only 3 *'s for "ease to install". However, I was lucky that the old one, which is fastened with 2 plastic clips, was slightly loose, and I was able to pull it out enough to carefully release the second clip. Considering the huge cost difference, I decided to take the chance, and purchased these. They are identical to the old ones, except as noted below. Once you remove the old one, you just snap the new one onto the wire connector, and press it in. I would agree with other reviews. The lens is a little darker, and with a slightly different pattern, but looks fine in my white TL, I might even say slightly nicer. And you would not notice the slight difference with the old one on the other side. As another reviewer noted, is not quite as tight against the car as it should be - it could slip out maybe 1/16" on one side, but after a week, it has not. I have no idea of how long it could last, but, considering the cost difference, it's well worth the risk. And, I have the replacement for the left side if the old one fails (and if it did, since I know the exact shape now, I would probably carefully break the old one with a drill to get it off instead of removing the part in the wheel well).

As described
Great product good value.

Not an easy install but look great.
These are good quality pieces though not easy to install but not the fault of the lights, the Acura TL itself makes it difficult since you have to get to them thru the wheel to reach these and involves partially removing the cover. Once installed they light up and look great, the smoke color looks sporty.

Good Fit, Good Light Output
Good quality replacement - if you have a lighter colored car, these may stick out like a sore thumb since they are SMOKED - on the Grey, they're not bad at all. Light output is nice - not obnoxiously bright like many LEDs out there. Overall I'm very pleased with these - hoping they last as long as the OEM set.
