Srixon Q-Star 5 Golf Balls (One Dozen)

I recently switched to these balls from playing TP5 and Bridgestone Tour B X. Being a high handicapper who loses balls my pocket couldn't keep up.In my first round with these I bit my first ever drive over 300 yards (309 total distance and won our longest drive competition in the outing I was in). I swing between 105-110 mph and find I still get really good distance and speed with this ball.It also checks surprisingly well for a 2 piece ball as I found it didn't have to much roll out around greens.All in all, if you're a high handicapper with fast swing speed and looking for a cheaper alternative, I highly recommend this ball!

After I bought these, I took them to the course and thought, “What a great set of balls I have in my bag! I can’t wait to whack these little balls in front of everyone!” Well, let me tell you, that’s exactly what I did. I whacked these bad boys into the woods, the water, the rough, the fairway (on the next hole over) and eventually in the hole! The only thing that was better than the way I sprayed my balls everywhere was the cart girl taking pity on me and slipping me her number. We have a date this Sunday, and I think she’s dying to try my balls out!

Not new balls

Great feel and distance. No complaints on performance, but the color is a bit odd. Its like a pale yellow that sits under the clear plastic coating. Not a big issue. Just looks funny

When I get in the groove the distance of these balls is impressive and they bite the green well on the chip shots.

Good value for quality. Good feel off the tee. Approach shots inside 150 really stick.

I am always looking for a ball that will give extra distance with a soft feel. I had been playing Srixon Soft Feel for a couple of years until i found one of these lost on the course. I hit it and liked it. Bought a box and liked it. It is now my regular ball…..until i find something better.

update!Retired so play a lot!Have recently been playing in windy conditions pitting Q Star v TruSoft ; Q Star is really influenced by ‘ cross winds’ - TruSoft flies straight, whereas Q Star is not as piercing ie wind really puts it off line. In calm conditions Q Star is longer and just as straight - having second thoughts

Easy to see depending on the time of year and light conditions. I did a balance test on them and found 2/3 in one sleeve were not balanced which was disappointing and could impact putting or drives.
