Julian Bowen Cleo Nest of Tables, Set of 3, Grey - H46 x W48 x D33cm

Easy to assemble, just put 2 washers on each of the 12 bolts and secure the legs onto each of the 3 table tops using the supplied Allen key. 15 minute job. The colour was as I expected and there were no problems lining up the bolts. The size is smaller than most nests of tables so do check the measurements first. They look good and I am happy with the quality and finish.

Very good 👍

A lot of other reviews here seem to mention that these tables are unsteady, or unbalanced. Or worse yet, that there were fixings missing from the box. I am happy to report that I had no such problems. Just three tabletops and twelve legs of varying sizes. All bolts and washers accounted for, and an Allen key. Putting all four legs on each table took, in total, about fifteen minutes. The ebony effect appearance is very good, and matches the rest of my furniture, which is all black smoked glass. I am not actually using the tables as a nest, however, as for me each one will serve a different purpose. I am using the largest of the three as a bedside table, and the smallest as a stand for a loudspeaker. Again, I am happy to say that i found not problems with this set at all. The tables are attractive, sturdy, solid, and easy to assemble.

Very good good

The tables look nice, but with 2 faulty tables was not a good start. I contacted the brand’s customer service who after seeing evidence of fault and several emails confirmed to send me the 2 faulty tables, had to correct them as they were all sending 1 replacement , delivery sent to wrong address! A week of emails back and forth and had them sent to a local DHL service collection. With no email of packaged delivered I manage to pick up! Still it was the wrong address on shipping label. When opened package only 1 replacement not 2 pieces. This has been the worst experience and I am now totally exhausted with this brand. Will never order from the brand again.

Cheap and nasty.

Ordered 27th July 2026 arrived 30th July Easy to put the legs on and the tables are sturdy and look great.

Very easy to put together. Nice tables

Obviously one and two star reviews contradict my review so either we were lucky or they were unlucky. The items ordered in black. arrived in good condition, well finished , sturdy and easy to assemble (took less than 20 minutes with Allen key provided) I particularly liked the nut, bolt, washer and spring washer assembly to secure each leg - particularly the spring washer which reduced the likelihood of legs frequently becoming loose when being moved around a lot (as a nest of tables tends to be). Possibly there are quality control issues but I personally found the quality to be more than acceptable within the price band. If you want a natural solid wood clear varnished/polished finish then expect to pay far more
