Thermometer with Alarm Review: Does exactly what's it suppose to do. - Easy setup. Alarm is about the sound of an alarm on a watch. Not the loudest but I can hear it in the garage with fans going. Review: great liquid temp readings - It may be a bit excessive for my application, which is to monitor beer temperatures in my kegerator, but it works very well. It really helps take the guess work out of liquid temperature readings and monitoring performance of the cooling system. The probe cable length is perfect at about 10ft and allows me flexibility. This model takes one AA battery which I am sure will last ,but it would be nice to have a plug in option. No issues so far and I would buy again.
