Good Quality
I was trying to get one of these from quite sometime, finally I bought it. first look is really good. It was well packed. Size of the product is compact so shouldn't be any problem with moving portability.

good addition
plugs in and goes straight off, very easy to set up and use, perfect if you don't want to spend a lot of money on something you won't use often. No complaints from me

New Pc' and lack of DVD function
No issues and for the price very pleased with the device. Operating on a new Asus AIO PC and didn't realise that it didn't come with a DVD function and this answers the problem nicely

'The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer' error
I couldn't get this product to work, even after researching answers to the error message I received. When inserting a music CD I received the error message 'The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer error'. When entering a blank CD the drive sounded like it was trying to read it, but then ejected. Couldn't access any options within the Disk Utility software either. I own an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, with OS Catalina version 10.15 - in case anyone has the same setup and is considering purchasing!

Plug and use easy and okay for windows 10
Works straight out of the box, plug and use, I have been using to rip many of my albums to itunes, not tried recording anything so far or watching DVD, but works on windows 10

Great value for money!
Great little dvr drive for laptops with no in-built rom! Could be lighter but does the job perfectly!!

Works as it should
Works as it should loud when running. Using it you burn my music cds and then down load to device

Often needs a reboot
When it works it works well. Unfortunately, sometimes the computer (I'm running Windows 10) can't find the drive. The error message is "The driver could not be loaded because a previous version of the driver is still in memory." This can always be fixed with a reboot of the computer, but it's irritating, and if they had shipped better software with the DVD drive then reboots wouldn't be necessary.
