Men’s UPF 50+ Surf & Swim Pants, Sun Protection Workout Leggings

First of all, I was very impressed by the quality of the material and stitching used to make the leggings. It doesn’t look like any corners were cut with the design and overall appearance. Secondly, they fit as expected. I’m 6’3” tall with long legs and based on the sizing chart I purchased a large. When I purchase regular pants I usually purchase a 33-34” waist with a 34L leg length. Out of the bag the leggings appear very short but since they are made of high quality nylon and spandex they stretched to fit my leg length almost perfectly. They are tight and snug fitting which is what I wanted. I’ve worn them Kiteboarding several times and they don’t ride up or get in the way. I wear a pair of shorts over them for extra comfort and appearance. The leggings have a pocket in the back which is convenient for storing small items such as a car key. Overall I would say this was a good purchase and I’m very happy with them.

Seem strong, stretchy, fit great. I wear these under my dive shorts or my shorty dive suit to give added lower leg coverage. Good product!

I live in Boca Raton, Florida. These swim pants are a perfect match for my Platinum Sun rash guard I use them together regularly. I also have the jacket, and honestly, I’ve become a real fan of the brand. As someone who lives in Boca Raton, Florida and works in the water almost daily including pools, oceans, cold springs, and even jellyfish season I’ve tested a lot of different gear. Platinum Sun consistently stands out. The materials are strong, flexible, and comfortable ideal for both performance and protection. I’ve now outfitted not just myself but my whole family in their gear. I’m writing this as a water professional who’s tried many brands, and I can confidently say Platinum Sun is the best I’ve used to date.

Good quality.Fits great and is cool not hot when I’m out on my boat.This is my third pair that I just purchased.Great quality and fit.However the price almost doubled, which will keep me from purchasing anymore. I bought three pair because I use them for the gym and out on the boat.Again great product but not for the 70.00 I just paid.

Update: Been surfing in these for 7+ months and they're still in great condition. I highly recommend this product. I'm 6ft 170 lbs and a Large fits me. I bought these for Surfing on a soft top. Soft top boards rub your legs raw so I bought these to protect that chafe from occurring. Pros: - The pattern/design are good looking. - The crotch line area needs to be a bit more diagonal but otherwise, the visual design is nice. (See Nike Hydrastrong Jammers for a good example of the crotch aesthetics) - There's a draw string! I could have easily gotten BJJ spats but none of them have draw strings... - They feel great and the fit great. You can squat or high kick with them on without problems. Cons: - My private parts are very visible in these. Nike Hydrastrong Jammers have additional layer of fabric "FRONT GUSSET for fit and comfort" to help hide the male package outline which makes them much more modest for public viewing. - The the opening at the bottom of the pants are so small that I can barely fit my feet through them. Nike Repel Challenger Men's Running Tights has a zipper at the bottom to accommodate for this. Pet Peeves: - As a surfer, my legs dangle in the water. I don't like the reflective material on my leg dangling in the water. I know that shark attacks are rare but I also know that if you dangle shiny silver objects in the water, it looks like a fish. We colored this part of it black with a permanent marker. - The key pocket in the back needs a way to seal and close whether that's Velcro or otherwise. Overall my goal was to find leggings as close as I could to Nike Hydrastrong Jammers. This was the closest I could find. From a Jammers perspective Nike Hydrastrong is a 10/10. These compared to those on a leggings perspective are a 7/10. $70 is way too much money for these but if you made the adjustments that I stated above then I'd buy 5 pairs at $70... I also recently purchased Nike Repel Challenger Men's Running Tights for the same reasons. They too have a problem in the cotch area and it's just too visible to watch around in public without shorts over the top. These are also $70 and I'd say they're a 7/10 also... So I guess I'd say that I'm still hunting for the perfect surf leggings. But if you need something, these will work.

With moderate use and gentle wash these have become unwearable. The fabric has deteriorated making them see-through. Cheap fabric.

Works excellent for surfing in El Salvador !

Honestly impressed. They’re not see-through at all, even though the fabric isn’t super thick. They move with me perfectly, and I was worried I’d overheat wearing them out of the water, but even in the Miami sun, I felt totally fine.
