Emu Oil Lip Balm

I only wish that I found this product years ago. I extremely fell in love with this. This product is priced very well and worked better than any high end lipgloss that I purchased in the past. It’s very moisturizing, with a beautiful sheen almost like a lipgloss. It doesn’t melt in the package during warm weather. It’s seems to plump up my lips and even tones up my lip color as well. It makes my lips extremely soft and last a good while before you reapply. The only thing I wish that would make this product even better would be to package it in a lipgloss container instead to ensure that you get to use all the product because when you get to the end, it’s a little difficult to get the last bit of the product out. But overall I will be a customer for life! Please consider a new package design and maybe adding some natural tint colors to it as well. I believe it would really sell like hot cakes!

Where they get you on this is the additional shipping charge of just under $4.00 taking the price up to $10.00. I will be returning it . Also don't like the way it comes out of the tube (hard to control) Product feels sticky when applied to lips. Other balms on the market much better value for the money

I tried many lip balms and this was the best one that I tried. I have severe chapped lips, so I tried the following: - Emu Oil Lip Balm by Naturals New Zealand - Dr Dan's Cortibalm - Miracle Emu Oil Lip Balm Therapy - BANISH CHAPPED LIPS Natural Lip Balm - Blistex Medicated Lip Balm - Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment - Burt's Bees 100% Natural Lip Balm - Aquaphor Lip Repair - Carmex Emu Oil Lip Balm by Naturals New Zealand goes on smooth and lasts extremely long. It was by far the best at keeping my lips feeling good. As far as the others I tried: Dr Dan's is very good, but I had to put it on more often and I'm not sure if using cortisone many times a day is advisable. Miracle Emu Oil Lip Balm was OK, but I didn't like the smell and wasn't quite as effective. BANISH CHAPPED LIPS Natural Lip Balm was grainy didn't go on easy. Blistex wasn't terrible but burned quite a bit. Aquaphor and Carmex were just OK. Of all these, I thought Burt's Bees was the worst and couldn't understand why they put peppermint in it. I combine this product with Neosporin Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy for the night, and I'm good to go.

I love that this lip balm has emu oil as the first ingredient, rather than the third or lower. It feels good on my lips, and the chapped lips that have been plaguing me since I quit Chapstick cold turkey six months ago, are looking better. I use several different organic, natural lip balms in a rotation throughout the day to try to make my lips happy. This is longer lasting than most and has a glossy effect that looks great. The smell is a little off-putting, but it dissipates fairly quickly, so it's not a deal-breaker. I just wish the tube was a big, fat one like some of the other organic lip balms, just because it makes it easier to cover your lips in less time. I definitely recommend this if you want the benefits of emu oil for your lips.

I do like the way it feels on my lips, but I'm not sure whether I got 2 bad ones ? They do not perform like a lip balm at all, meaning, they do not keep their shape. Its like thick vaseline smooshed into the tube. As soon as I try to run it over the lips, it crumbles into thick chunks which stick all over my lips. It was not ordered while it was hot. Its not overly hot in my house either. I do not use it "to hard" and my lips aren't to dry. It simply is as soft as vaseline. The only way I can use it is to put some on my finger and then run across my lips. Not my favorite kind of application since its not always possible to wash hands before one wants to use a lip moisturizer.

I ordered this lip balm out of desperation. I'm going through a weird phase where my lips feel dry and almost burnt, although you can't visually see anything wrong. It's almost comparable to when I took Accutane in my 20's and had a tube of Carmex in every pocket and drawer, only with this, Carmex only exacerbates the burning sensation bc it is medicated. This emu oil is very soothing and smells wonderful. I do like it, but have to apply it often, so it's not a magic cure. The only thing really helping is pure sticky lanolin or Bag Balm. Otherwise this stuff is fantastic. I took off a star bc of the steep price.

Emu oil is a wonderful product all by itself. I used it for a number of skin problems. When I found this lip balm with Emu Oil in it, I had to try it. I am very glad I did. I have tried numerous lip balms in an attempt to keep my lips from chapping, but as soon as the balm wore off, my lips were still chapped, continuously. This lip balm actually heals your lips and it smells nice as well. I will continue to purchase this product.
