Is this good for deep conditioning ?

Yes 😊. That's all I use it for. Im a licensed cosmetologist of 14yrs. I haven't tried it with color yet. If you get this item use distilled water in it and don't not lift the hood too quickly after use because water collects toward the back of the hood and hot water will spill on to ur neck.

My product stop steaming. I only used twice

Purchased in Jan. 2022,& used once. Tried using today April 2022,& it didn’t work. I’m really disappointed because return window has passed!!!

I just got this today and the hood won’t stay down. The knob behind the hood on the right side isn’t working. What to do?

It is not suppose to. I had to youtube a different steamer to get a tutorial on proper usage. The instructions with this one are vague and it takes too much guess work. I didn't even know where to put the freaking water. But if the hood is down then the water from the steam will drip out of the back and burn your neck. It should remain upwards. I almost broke mine trying to make it stay down and thought that it was defective. I hope this helps.
