Better than original!
The original line screen in our dryer seemed rather flimsy and we alway had a problem when resnapping it shut after cleanout. Finally the flap door broke off when we were trying to close it and I found several on Amazon. I settled on this one because it has a stainless steel lint screen and seemed a little sturdier. I was not disappointed when it arrived. I installed it and I really believe it catches more lint than the origin one ever did and it is way more dependable.

Adequate replacement but not the same as OEM
This works as an adequate replacement but is slightly different to the OEM guard that came with my dryer. The OEM one was easier to open the door and remove the lint. This one you have to pry open because it locks in place when closed properly. If you don’t lock it in place it does not fit in the slot properly. It is a bit difficult to get it and out if you do not make sure it is closed properly.

Frame a tad too big
This didn’t set properly in my dryer. The frame was just a touch too big for it to sit down properly. I probably could have modified it to fit - But the flap fit perfectly onto my old frame. It was flap that I really needed to replace. So I just separated the new flap and installed it on the old frame. Viola!

Unfortunate necessity
Breaks every now and then. Comes with extra part but it's not the one needed. The replacements I've gotten...some are a little wonky to begin with. The most recent one was the best. Just glad it's available somewhere so I will keep buying it.

weak joint
Disappointed that the hinge for the flap broke within weeks. That was my problem with the original filter. This filter seemed more sturdy so I didn't expect it to break so quickly.
