Maize Slip Ball Boxing Speed Bag 10"W x 1"H

This maze ball helped with my slipping or rolling after a punch. Now it's second nature. Its good quality (RingSide duh) Easy to use if you have some basic boxing or martial arts experience. It has enough weight to move fast enough and enough weight to remind you too move that head ( if it hits you, you'll be reminded). Just make sure you have enough space to hang it up and move around. Once you get your rhythm and movement it's fun (To some) . *ITS NOT MADE TO BE PUNCHED*

I personally finish every workout with 3-4 rounds on the slip bag and every serious fighter uses it to some degree. Beginners need to remember that the bag represents the fist coming at you, not your opponent's head. Keep your feet moving, step forward, and mix in slips with bobs and weaves. Punch around the bag, using it as way to practice throwing jabs while moving your head off line. When you're exhausted, swing it in a straight line and get in front of it, up on your toes, and practice the old Iron Mike "tick tock" drill. Hang it at whatever height you wish, but I recommend mixing it up by lowering it by 6"-10" occasionally, which forces you to go lower than normal when ducking and bobbing/weaving and really gives the quads some good work.

I picked this up for at home training and I've been very satisfied. We primarily use this as a slip bag but on occasion will also use it with our padded Escrima sticks. So far it has stood up to this abuse and, as a slip bag, it has a nice smooth action. Overall, I completely recommend this to you. Update: we’ve now been using this steadily for a bit over six months. It’s still in great shape. When you use this thing correctly (check out a video online by Paul “The Punisher” Williams for some ideas) you will get a great workout and really really improve your skills. This, and the double end bag, are some things I constantly recommend to the guys I train with at an MMA gym. Good luck!

Found this item from watching Mike Tyson Training. I was thinking I would prefer rope, but the chain with the s hook allows it to go right at the handle on my garage door when opened, and the s hook through a chain link for perfect height for my head. I will install a ceiling mount in room to use also. Very satisfied for the price cannot beat for $20. Thanks! Will buy some other models if I can find them but this is nice as is. Others have you fill it with rice, sand etc. This is already filled. Wish it was slightly heavier, but the point is this is not meant to be punched, Dodge it while shadow boxing, It can still be lightly hit accurately to keep the swing going well.

You can pretty much hang this anywhere with the open hook provided at the top of the chain. If the chain is too short for your application you can easily add chain to the hook to extend it. The bag itself is sturdy and durable. This bag is not meant to punch but I give it light jabs to keep it moving and it has held up great. I drop it in my gym bag to use anywhere I go including clients houses. This is one of if not the best slip bag at this price point that continues to deliver.

I cannot say enough good about this product. It is all leather and come with a chain that you can easily modify/replace with a longer chain/rope. It is about the size of a small professional speed bag (as apposed to the Sporting Goods Store HUGE inflated plastic Everlast/Century type speed bags) but it is clearly not (it is even stitched on the side that it is not a speed bag). It is weighted with sand and has a solid feel/heft to it. With the bag being leather, it should last a lifetime of training. Others recommended the other bag that is about 20 dollars more than this. I am VERY glad I took a chance and purchased this one. I highly recommend
