If you're going to use this tile as a backsplash, how do you finish the bottom part. What do you do with the voids in between the fish scales?

I rented a tile cutter from home depot and cut them to make a straight line. you could probably get away with a hand tile cutter as well. p.s. if you're on the fence about getting it, get it! its absolutely amazing in my kitchen...(also dont forget you could turn it upside down or also sideways) :)
