Medline Silent Knight Pill Crusher Pouches (Pack of 1000)

I am a Registered Nurse and the Wellness Director of a fairly large facility. In my position, I am also responsible for ordering all of our medical supplies. I have a budget to stay within, so I always check/compare prices and reviews thoroughly before ordering any supplies we need. Most of our supplies I am able to purchase here on Amazon and it helps me stay below my budget and so far all of the products I’ve purchased have been of top quality. I’ve compared prices with many well known top medical product suppliers and with almost every product, the price/product ratio here on Amazon almost always beats other suppliers. So far everything I have ordered (nitrile gloves, soufflé med cups, plastic med cups, plastic med pass water cups, pill crush bags, etc) have all been top notch and high quality medical grade products. I also love that with Amazon I don’t have to purchase a minimum amount to qualify for free shipping. Most items I order I’m able to receive free shipping due to being a prime member.I’ve been very pleased and thankful for the quality, service and great deals. Very sturdy and will hold several pills at a time. Moderately difficult to open each pouch at the top if you have dexterity issues. Do not reuse as pouches will weaken with repeated use causing crushed pills to stick to inside of pill crusher.

Received these in just a couple of days. Medline bags are very similar to the bags I received with the Silent Knight pill crusher (see pictures). I've used 2 of the bags and they seem to be of same thickness of plastic. Very close to same size, see picture. 1000 bags are a lot, but I won't have to worry about reordering for a few months! Price was great too.

These are perfect baggies to help with holding crushed meds for my Grandma. They sits perfectly In her Silentknight pull crusher!!

This order was fulfilled with Links Medical Products pouches. They are thick and fit the Silent Knight pill crusher. I’m very happy with them. The last order was Medline brand (on the right) and they are too big and too thin. Buyer beware. I still buy MedPrude pouches for the big pills.

These pull crusher bags are from the original manufacturer -- at a very, very good price! I purchased the Silent Knight pill crusher for my husband who is completely dependent on tube feeding. I crush pills for the entire week in 4 "batches" - morning, breakfast, lunch, dinner - and transfer the pulverized material to individual screw top jars with no content loss. I am able to use one bag for each weekly "batch" of the same type of pills. I was using a very fine stainless steel mortar and pestle prior to this to crush the pills, but the Silent Knight - though costly- really makes your life so much easier!!I will admit there is a bit of a learning curve to use the Silent Knight pill crusher most effectively. At first I pushed really hard on the handle, and scored the pill pouch with each pill (I crush about 5 at a time). After a few tries, I lightened up on my initial crush, and used more of a lighter touch on the grinding pushes as I moved the bag up. The contents were pulverized, and the bags did not score with the imprint of the initial pill push. Once you find the right touch for you, the pill pouches will last and perform well, and the contents pulverize with ease! The box contains 1000 bags which I figure will last me a very, very long time. This is an excellent buy.

Top notch pull crusher pouches that are superior to using a plastic pull crusher. Perfect for making med time easier for special needs children that cannot swallow pills. Also, for the child/tween that is between child dosage of medication and pill swallowing readiness.Pouches are thick and hold up to several uses if needed. My special needs child takes the same medication each evening, so it is a life saver when on vacation and you realize you didn’t pack extras.Great price point and value. I have so much overstock I’m set for 2 years from one purchase!
