Kratt pitch pipe is great. I like E-flat better than C-C or F-F for mixed groups. Made in USA is a plus. I own & have used a number of pitch pipes. This Kratt is superior to most imports I’ve owned and used. Tone quality & accuracy similar to Tombo but this one takes up less space in a shirt pocket (no bulge).

I personally prefer the Eb to Eb configuration which this pitch pipe has over the C to C and the F to F counterparts. This is directly between these other options, so I am not forced to blow a high Eb like I would have to if I had a F to F, but I also have the option to blow a high Eb if I want, which I would not have with a C to C. I personally do not like the lower notes on the C to C because they are harder to match with my voice, to the Eb to Eb matches my voice range perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a pitch pipe higher than a C to C but does not want a F to F. Just remember that you will need to step down more often with this one than would be required with a C to C - but less often than would be required with a F to F. A couple of the notes don't work...they sound blocked or something but the rest work and sound good. Sturdy, quality product but I will be asking for a refund/replacement.

I highly recommend only this product of all the similar Kratt turners.

Read several reviews before buying. Seems that most were blowing hard into pitch pipe. Blowing hard does not work. Just a simple exhaling of air and the pitch pipe sounds perfect. Do not be a blow hard!

I used this pitch pipe outdoors for Christmas Caroling with a large group. It was loud enough, however 2 of the pitches did not always sound. You really had to move the opening around to get them. Aside from that it is small, light weight and you can easily read the lettering.

Order came promptly, in it's own lined plastic box. I can blow a pitch without having to blow forcefully, and the keys were written on both sides of the instruments--the silver side and the black side--so it's easy to locate the pitch I want which ever side of the instrument is up. There is, however, no white slide to move into place over a particular pitch, so even though I keep my finger on the pitch note I've chosen, I still have to look to check before I blow the pitch a second time.
