Louis Pelle Leather Minimalist Wallet RFID Blocking Bifold Slim Wallet (Vintage Brown)

I really like this wallet, much more than I anticipated I would! I have ditched my other, much larger wallet, in favor of this full time now. Size is perfect for me.As you can see in the photos, the packaging is very nice. I highly recommend this as a gift for this reason alone - the unwrapping process will add to the nature of this item as a gift - well done Louis Pelle!Also... if it matters to you... the smell. It's wonderful! Just as quality leather should be.The inner lining is also very nice, as is the quality of the stitching. I have noticed, or rather worried about the "edges" on the inside fold - but they've been no issue with some use. So I don't think this will be a wear point or something I end up tugging on, that sort of thing.If you want a minimalist wallet and don't need to carry too many cards and cash, this is very highly recommended.

This is a very supple leather with a nice lining. The leather is smooth and of high quality.Unfortunately the magnets which hold it closed demagnetized my hotel room key. I did not realize that hotel keys are more easily demagnatized than a credit card. I was told that gift cards can also be easily demagnetized, so perhaps say away from using this wallet for gift cards as well.

First let me say, I am a huge fan of the Louis Pelle line of leather wallets and have several of their credit card cases and coin purses. Their leather goods are usually deeply dyed, thick, soft, and the construction has been flawless in every wallet I received.However, this Bifold Wallet is disappointing. It doesn't look or feel like anything that even remotely resembles leather despite the embossed "Genuine Leather" stamp inside. It holds any creases and bends on the inside flaps. It just looks flimsy and feels cheap and is not up to the standard of quality I have come to expect of Louis Pelle leather goods.I am not quite sure what this could be used for other than business cards as it uses a magnetic closure and I wouldn't want anything magnetic that close to my credit cards or anything that uses a magnetic strip to store information. This is the first time I have been disappointed in this line, and I cannot recommend this wallet.

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. This is a light brown, brushed leather front pocket wallet. It is a bi-fold that opens up and has 2 compartments for cards or folded bills. It has a magnetic closure that holds the two compartments shut, but it is a very weak magnet. It is not a critical flaw but one that I would like to see rectified. If you are heading out somewhere and want to keep your money a and couple cards safely in your front pocket, then this is the wallet for you. If you have more than 4-6 cards or you carry a lot of cash, this wallet will be thick and bulky for the front pocket. I love using it when I am headed to a really crowded function (amusement park, concert, state fair) and don't need to carry the entire contents of my regular wallet. I use it for my driver's license, some cash, and a couple of credit cards and it works very nicely. I recommend this product.

I've always carried my wallet in my front pocket, for a couple of reasons. First, the back pocket is called the "sucker pocket" by pickpockets... much easier to pick than a front pocket. Second, a wallet in your back pocket can shift your posture enough to cause back problems.I had been using a tri-fold wallet and carrying more than I really needed... because it could hold so much! Like all those store discount cards that you don't need because you can just give them your phone number.This minimalist wallet holds all the cards and cash that I need, and doesn't make me look like I've got some kind of growth on my hip. Perfect.

This is a wonderful minimalist wallet. The leather is a tan color and feels like suade. There is a magnetic closure and it has the right amount of resistance when opening. Inside there are 2 lined openings or pockets to keep credit cards, cash or whatever small item you prefer to carry with you. They are credit card sized. This wallet has the RFID blocking to keep your information safe. Closes easily and stays closed with the magnetic addition which is really nice. I love the imprinted lion decoration on the front corner. This is a quality minimalist wallet that I am enjoying.

 This is a soft leather wallet and it's nice if you aren't carrying more than a couple of cards. Yes, it holds more than two but it is not fun having to pull out every card to find the one you are looking for. So if you are someone that carries more than one or two cards, plan on having to pull all cards out to find the one you are looking for. To that end, I didn't really like this wallet, I need to know which card I'm grabbing and with this type of wallet, it can't ever happen. so It does limit what you can carry comfortably.

This is a nicely crafted leather wallet with a patterned fabric lining. It works well if you don't carry a lot of cards or cash, otherwise you may be limited by the size. The inside foil rfid blocker sounds a bit crinkly when you open the wallet. It reminds me of a baby sensory toy.Nicely presented but I'm not sure I would gift this due to the odor of the leather.At the time of this review there wasn't a retail price listed so I cannot comment on value but it is well made from decent leather although it has a strange odor.
