So I don’t normally do reviews but it was a big struggle for me to buy certain clothes for the mori kei style as I wasn’t sure how it would look.So for anyone possibly getting into it I think this skirt would be so good for layering and stuff it just has that cute grandma vibe and it’s good material I think.It’s stretchy and also a perfect height for me (I’m 5’0)!

True to size. Fully lined to below the knee. Transparent only below the knee. Lightweight and drapes nicely. The peacock blue is nice but just not for me, I am exchanging it for a different color.

This skirt is adorable!! I love it. BUT two important things, it runs small in the waist. I wear a medium in everything but this is quite snug. It’s elastic so it fits, but not in a ‘just sit on your waist’ way. I’m going to have it altered and have a drawstring put in and elastic removed. Also it’s very long if you’re a shortie like me (5’2”), so I’m going to have a few inches taken off, otherwise it drags on the floor. But those aren’t reasons I wouldn’t buy it, it’s very flattering, and I have hips! If you don’t want to alter it and don’t like snug elastic waists, size up:)

I am going to keep the skirt but not sure that it’s worth the money. If it was $20, I would probably buy several more but I don’t think it’s worth $35. Runs a tad small. I normally wear a size 14 or large and on occasion an XL. I thought I was upsizing buying the XL and it’s definitely not big! The elastic is a bit tight and stiff. I would say it’s closer to juniors sizing not misses. The chiffon feels a tad scratchy. I like the style more than I thought I would so that’s why I am keeping it. Hoping to find something else like it.

The material is like a fine window netting, and the colour is very bright white - like Christmas lights that have a blue undertone. A harsh white, not like a crisp white shirt. I paid £37 so expected quality between Primark and Next, but it’s more ‘old lady boutique polyester’.
