Updated review after 3+ years of daily wear- Durable, stylish, and no laces- best boots ever!
3+ year update- Well, it’s now April 2024 and I’m still wearing the original pair I bought back in Dec 2020. For real. These have been the longest lasting, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I’m still wearing them every single day. However, they have developed a squeak in both shoes as I walk that I can’t unhear so I’ll probably be buying a new pair and reserving the old ones for yard work and the like. This is most definitely due to years of wear and tear and not a manufacturer issue. I beat the hell out of these shoes.Amazingly, the soles have stayed intact and attached to the leather for over three years of daily use! That’s really impressive! The leather is also still in great shape. I condition them with mink oil now and then and that really refreshes them. So, final thought- Are they comfortable- yes, absolutely. Are they durable? Almost impossibly so. Are they worth the money? Yes, yes, yes.Enjoy yours!2 year update- still going strong! Sole and leather upper show no signs of detaching and I’m still wearing them daily. Just applied a new coat of Obenauffs (see last 2 pics) and they’re good to go hopefully for at least another year!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1+ Year Update-I still really like these boots. They've held up pretty well over the year while wearing them almost daily. I've worn them mostly around town, on light hikes, and through rain, snow, and slush. They have kept my feet dry and in comfort. I appreciate how easy they are to pull on and off while still not really feeling loose like many slip on shoes. These days the elastic on the sides are starting to fray. The tread is wearing down too. The leather has held up remarkably well and there is only slight separation between the leather and the sole on one of the shoes. I'll probably end up buying another pair when these eventually fail me.These are certainly not BIFL, but I don't think any shoes are. They probably aren't made as well as they used to be when they were still made in Australia either, but they're still pretty damn good.______________________________________________________________________________________________I was looking for a pair of boots that could be my go-to multi-purpose easy on, easy off boots and these definitely fit the bill. They're rugged enough to be worn in nasty weather, but also look good enough to pass for business casual. I have a wide toe-box and often have trouble finding wide shoes that fit well. Being slip-ons, I was worried that I would have a lot of heel lift, but this wasn't a problem at all. They're quite tight at first, being almost annoyingly difficult to put on. As you wear them, they loosen up though. Plus, as with most quality leather shoes, the more you wear them, the more comfortable they get.I'll admit, I was initially attracted to them due to their popularity. I will also say that I'm immediately skeptical of products like this because I think some products get swept up into fashion fads and end up being poorly made. Not so with these boots. They're very light-weight but seem to be able to hold up to serious abuse. For those die-hard USA Made or bust folks (respect) but these are not for you. They say Australia all over the packaging and on the pull tabs but are actually made in Vietnam. Still, the quality is high and I expect them to last for a long time, even with lots of abuse.Like all leather boots I buy, I immediately treated them with Obenauf's and I recommend giving them a nice coating of a protective oil once and a while to extend the life of the material.I will update this review if my opinion changes as I continue to wear the boots.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quality and comfortable
Excellent quality and thoughtful, utilitarian design. The materials feel durable and well-constructed right out of the box. The stitching is clean, the structure feels solid, and they have that substantial, well-made feel you want in a boot that’s meant to last. The silhouette is simple and functional — very utilitarian. In black, the overall look leans more masculine. I also purchased the same style in brown, and that color reads much more unisex and versatile. One thing I struggled with before purchasing was finding accurate heel-to-toe and width measurements. There isn’t a lot of detailed sizing information available, which made choosing a size a bit of a gamble. After reading quite a few Reddit comments, I decided to order a half size up — and I’m very happy I did.If you’re between sizes, unsure about fit, or have a wider foot, I strongly recommend going up ½ size. The half size up gives a bit of extra room in the toe box, but not so much that the boot feels sloppy or oversized. The width feels just right — snug without being tight — and the shaft holds my foot securely in place, so there’s no slipping or instability when walking.Another major benefit of sizing up half a size is how much easier it makes getting them on and off. With true-to-size boots, that initial pull-on can sometimes be a struggle, especially with thicker socks. The extra bit of space makes a noticeable difference in comfort and convenience without sacrificing fit.Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase — great build quality, structured support, and a practical design that feels like it will break in nicely over time.

A good standard.
Durable everyday wearers. They look great and hold up well in the rough dusty conditions of the high desert. A good value as these boots will last a good long while.

So versatile!
Some reviews about these boots made me wary and hesitant to order them. It’s now been several months and these are my favorite boots. I’ve worn them in the rain, in the mud, on rocky foot paths or just casually around the city. They were stiff for about a week and were a little difficult to put on at first, but broke in quickly and comfortably. They look cute with jeans or skirts/dresses. They feel very lightweight but have been durable. I will be purchasing additional colors in the future. I have been very satisfied with this purchase!

Great Comforable but hard to get off and on
I purchased these boots right before a hiking trip. They were brand new when I wore them on thst trip. The were very comfortable. But im taking off one star because they are very hard to get off and on, especially in cold weather. They are stylish too. Even though they fit my wide foot they didn't look bulky.

Quality Supple Leather; Very Impressed!
Just gorgeous, but unfortunately, they were too tight. I sized up and was able to get them on after much pulling, but they were painfully tight. There was no way I'd be able to wear any socks, much less wool socks, with them, so I returned them. I'm disappointed because they are so supple and pretty!! They seemed like really high quality and will probably work for most folks if they size up. They are soft and flexible, not too thick or heavy.

Not for travel & long walks
I bought these because I heard they were great for travel and every day use. They were stylish and a nice change up from my Hokas if I wanted to dress up my outfit a bit more. I broke them in at home and wore them out for a month, I even got more supportive inserts just to be more proactive. We were headed to Japan and I knew we would be doing a lot of walking. Unfortunately these did not hold up. I developed this crazy blister under my pinky toe and my inner thighs were killing me. Granted, we did walk a lot—I ended up not using them at all for the last part of my trip—they became too painful. I don’t recommend for long term wear, maybe if you’re going out for a bit but not all day walking. Super bummed that these didn’t work out for me! The cost def wasn’t worth the pain it caused me while wearing. The fit was accurate and they are easy to put on and take off but in the long run—nope. I need a recommendation for a good comfortable boot for travel, which is what I thought I was getting with these..
