Holding up good so far
Good replacement product for an over priced Traeger product (which is mostly out of stock). Probe temp is spot on when checked by separate meat thermo. Easy to install, but check the backside knob fasteners, the knob was loose during shipping and just needed a few turns to square it away.

Product worked awesome. Been using my smoker will no reported issues.

Igniter is shorter than OEM
The igniter does not extend into the burner pot as far as the OEM igniter did. aside from that it works well and is nice to have a like new burner pot in the grill

Money saving option for an existing Traeger grill in good condition.
My husband was especially pleased with this purchase, because ours is one of the last models of Traeger grills manufactured in the USA, and except for the fire burn pot, was in good condition.This item was less than 10% of that grill's original cost, and bought with the ignitor kit, has essentially resulted in a grill that performs like new. Yes, it is manufactured in China, but appears well made. Very satisfied with this purchase.

hot rod igniter did not work
The igniter rod did not work....very disappointing....had to purchase another one at local Ace Hardware. Probably should have gone there first. The fire pot is fine but not exact size/specs as original Traeger. I would advise agsint purchasing this product.

Easier to install than I thought it would be
I have a Traeger Texas edition grill about 6 years old. I called Traeger and they were super helpful and straight forward. They don't offer this anymore, however they did give me the part number and told me what to search for on Amazon. I found this. Ordered it. Watched a couple of YouTube videos of people installing. Looked at the instructions. Much easier than you think. And my grill is back to its old self. Lights right up. Holds temperature better than ever. Shuts down as it should. This part saved me from buying a whole new smoker. So worth it. Showed up on time. Description was accurate. Price was cheaper than what Traeger would have charged.

Seems to work okay
Was easy to install, but the Temp control I think could be a little more accurate. I guess I expected more being an engineer

Works and fits perfect for the PB 700
Always skeptical of ordering things online turned out to be perfect description all the screws everything needed For a perfect install application works as should looks identical to factory
