The piece didn’t fit my car

There's a lot of play in the steering box since I installed, I tide it up and check everything, supposed to be a new steering box but is dangerous and really hard to turn

Properly fits my 73 Baja bug. Was a snap to put in.

Little stiff and comes dry with no lube but wors awesome

product was worse than my old steering box, could not get the excessive play out, it had 4 inches of turn before it would turn the wheels, it was impossible to drive with, rebuilt my original vw box, and put back on, 1/2 inch of travel and drives perfect, beware of this product, i might of just got a lemon,

Had a lot of play straight out of the box. I could not adjust it to take the slop out.

Very disappointed in gearbox. Has a grinding feel to it when steering. Very stiff and excessive play will not adjust out. I now have to remove and return for a refund. I’ve learned that economy is not the way to go when purchasing a gearbox. This is what you get. I am a Diesel Technician 35 years, I’ve adjusted many gearboxes on BIG trucks.
