This is a world class product and the only brand I use. Forget what others are saying about the taste or consistency. Yes, it has a sawdust like texture and even a slight sawdust like taste (not pungent or worse, like others have described it). Have bought this twice now. It’s great value and perfect with added flavour and as a porridge thickener or on its own for more fibre. I like to flavour it with coffee, cacao and cinnamon with lots of water and left to thicken - topped with fruits and yogurt etc. tastes like a dessert. You don’t have to just drink it.

The bag has a resealable opening to keep the husk fresh, although sometimes the little pieces of husk get in between, making it hard to seal. I would recommend a different sealing method. Regardless, good product, good price. I am happy with the purchase and super content with the results of adding more fiber to my diet.
