Does the pen read the questions to the child?

No it does not. It answers yes or no whether the child picked the correct answer. I read the questions to my 2 and 4 year olds and they pick the answer. They love the dog pen his eyes light up either green or red and his yes and no's vary from a barking yes to a " no that's not right". The phonics card set does not come with the pen though so make sure you're buying the correct one.

People are saying the pen is included but the description says it is sold separately. Did you get a pen?
