Alkaline Drinking Water Filter

Simple and amazing! I live in a city with awful water; it’s terrible quality, full of forever chemicals, and tastes like dirt. We were slaves to one-use water bottles until this easy solution. Installation is simple enough and the customer service was excellent when I had questions. I’m an advanced-beginner home DIY-er and with the videos and written instructions, I installed this over a few days taking about 2 hours each day. I took my time double checking everything at each step. I experienced no problems or leaks. I’ve had it installed and running for about 3 weeks now. I did a lot of research for which filter to use, both brand and type. RO with remineralization is the best way to go. This brand does it all and at a great price with easy self installation. I would recommend this to everyone, seriously. It does require a separate beverage faucet, which I thought I didn’t want at first. I thought wanted every drop of water in my kitchen sink fully filtered. But without pricey full-house filters, that can’t be achieved. This is a nice alternative that lets you keep water pressure for washing dishes. The beverage faucet itself has great flow rate. Size: I have a small amount of space under my cabinet because I have a large disposal underneath. It still fits beautifully and I even have space for a little bit of storage under the sink. I have a one drain sink with a disposal, and I had to buy a separate attachment to make sure the filter drains properly. A plumber gave me the attachment tip. We’ve been making ice and drinking clean, great tasting water and we’re so thankful for this affordable and amazing product. Get it.

Very Pleased with this product so far! Got it in a Double box that included everything organized by box and extremely well packaged. Faucet is very sturdy and clean looking, all stainless and feels heavy duty. Components are very well made. Price point is just great! Installation took about 1 hour following video instructions (available on Youtube). Everything fit just right without leaks on the first try. (Be Careful when installing plastic threading on metal components. Make sure that the threads are straight and you'll have no problems) Follow the manufacturers recommendation for system flushing and youre all set. Installation requires drilling to tap the drain before the P trap and if you have to drill a hole for the faucet. Other than that, the rest is just Screws and Pressure Fittings. Water Quality is the best! Re mineralization adds those minerals that help with hydration, alkalinization and de ionization takes that water to heavenly status! Would recommend any day!

I am very happy with this unit. What really set it apart were the excellent instructions. I have become accustomed to terrible instructions in tiny font on cheap paper that have been machine translated from Chinese. This was definitely not the case. These were printed in color, on decent paper in a very legible font! Thanks Express Water! The installation took me almost 3 hours, but that was mainly due to my inexperience with plumbing and the poor design done by whomever did the original work. There was not enough room to install the splitter at either the base of the water pipe (too close to drain pipe) or at the base of the faucet (too close to the sink itself) so after exhausting all options with what I had on hand I had to go to Home Depot. Otherwise, the unit comes with everything you need and can be installed in about an hour by anyone with even basic skills. It comes partially pre-assembled, basically everything they could put together in advance they did. After getting it up and running I can confirm that the water tastes great. I plan to get a pH meter to test if the Alkaline stages are actually doing there job. I also plan to test the TDS of my input water and the output of the RO filter prior to the Alkaline filter to see how much "stuff" it's taking out of my water. And I guess I might as well test the final TDS after the Alkaline filter. I'll update the comments when I get time to do that. UPDATE: I got a pH meter and the water is coming out at 10.8 pH. The Alkaline filter is working better than I would have expected. The next test is to see how long it works for.

Okay so this will sound dumb but they have really nice packaging. Really thoughtful touches in the way its packed. So it took me about an hour to install but im pretty handy and im as good as an amateur can get with plumbing as i refitted my entire house plumbing myself before so keep that in mind when i say it was simple to install. Instructions are clear though. My big problem at my house is highly acidic well water. Like a PH of 5.5. Before i sink a lot of money into a whole house neutralizer i needed a stop gap with a good filter for drinking water and this seems to have done the trick. Only had it for a few days but it took my PH from 5.5 to 7.0 (aka neutral) at the tap. The water tastes good. be sure to follow the instructions for flushing the system after the initial install. It takes time but you gotta do it. Overall for the price it would be hard to beat this system IMO. The water tastes good, it raised my PH from a seriously low number so im very happy so far. PS they LOAD UP the fittings with plumbers tape but install as it comes in the package. I looked at one of the fittings and thought "that's way too much tape" and rewound it to what i thought would be a good level of plumbers tape. Well i was wrong and there was a very VERY small leak from the one fitting i re-taped. I went with the other ones as they came in the package and none of them leaked so i guess the company knew best on that one. There is only one fitting you actually need to tape so go a bit heavy on it. Bottom line is follow their well written instructions and you'll be fine. When i strayed from it thinking i knew better... thats where the small leak happened. Very good kit all together. Crazy good quality for the initial purchase price so i'm sure they are actually making their money on the replacement filters as the business model. Can't blame them, you gotta make money somewhere and with the quality of the filter system they might be breaking even on the initial purchase of the system. Its a business, not a charity :)

After installed, it has been fantastic. Water tastes great and is far better than disposable bottles. TDS went from 350 down to 60. Excellent! Install was an absolute beast. Although instructions are clear (perhaps overly clear), there’s a lot to do. I had about 10 leaks in different spots at different times. Most of it was my fault but there was a pre-installed filter I had to tighten because it leaked. Hooking up the pipes is simple. Just push it in and you’re done. Theoretically. There were a couple spots I thought I had clearly pushed it in all the way but apparently I hadn’t. After pushing it in again, each leak stopped. I also hadn’t tightened one of the canisters completely. Originally I didn’t want to overtighten but I had to until the labels all faced straight forward. Same with the connection on the holding tank. I had to tighten more than I thought. I also had to replace the p-trap since it was too high and the only spot to attach the drain still had water in it because of the design of the trap. Tips: -Leave the tubes long enough where you can pull it out from under the sink to fix any leaks or replace the filter. -Get an alarm that detects water. They’re relatively cheap and gives you peace of mind. The shutoff that comes with the system is good but only comes with a few of the sponges.

So it’s been almost 2 months since I’ve purchased this. I love it. I’m kicking myself for waiting as long as I did because I really believed my PUR dispenser was doing something. That being said, the directions when assembling, was confusing. I think it’s suppose to be a very generic instruction manual that covers multiple different set ups. Ignore the instruction part and just look for the picture set up. Match the colors of the tubes to where they’re suppose to go. It’s honestly not that challenging. Also, there are these little cotton rounds to trigger the auto shut off, I recommend messing with the auto shut off first and making sure you’ve got it hooked up correctly, then putting that round. I wasted one and they’re not reusable. Not a big deal because it came with two and ordering more wasn’t difficult. Other than that, we love this. I fill my nugget ice maker with this filtered water and it does not get a mineral build up like it did with my PUR filter. I was having to descale it at least once a month as well as pulling it apart and scrubbing the heavy build up areas. None of that in the two months I’ve been using this water in it. The water tastes great. I was hesitant on if I really wanted this set up or maybe a smaller one, but I have no regrets. The tank is great, the water pressure from the faucet is great. I love it. One more thing, I will say, you will need someone with a strong grip to screw these filters on. It comes with a handle thing to help but I found it to still require a lot of effort to get it tight enough to not leak when running.

I watched the installation video a few times before it arrived, so I knew what to expect when it was time to install. I can say after seeing both, follow the video it is much better. Parts of the written instruction I found important; The overall system diagram was good to see. Video is step by step, here is what's next. While the instructions don't really tell it that way. It breaks the different parts into sections but does not do a good enough job on how they all connect together and that is where the video really shines. With that out of the way, I'm a handy homeowner that has done a little plumbing. This installation was a breeze. Hardest decsision for me was where\how to place the faucet as my sink does not have big flat borders like the video and the instructions. I was relieved that it fit just perfect in a back corner of the sink and you don't have to use the bigger discs to mount. Actual system hookup was a breeze with the faucet done, at first glance it looked like they were skimpy on the amount of tubing. It all worked out in the end with lots of extra so no worries there. After draining, bleeding out the first bit of water. Water comes out fast and tastes great. Extremely pleased with purchase. Update: 10/20/2020 hooked up tds meter on supply line and after RO Membrane filter I have 21 TDS coming into the sytem and 1 TDS leaving the membrane. Alk filter is doing its job as if I take a reading after the Alk filter I'm getting 17+ TDS getting those essential minerals back into the water. Very pleased.

Purchased December 2024 for a Christmas Gift. So weve had it a year and a half. No issues with install or set up, and we have not had any leak issues at all. The water comes at a great pressure and we really like how it tastes (if you can say water has a taste). Definitely removes the taste of city water and makes it taste like bottled, which saves a lot of money. We would absolutely purchase another unit. Very happy with this purchase.

El producto llego a tiempo y es de muy buena calidad. No fue fàcil de istalar pues hubo que pasar una manguera hacia el refrigerador y fue un poco complicao pero por el sabor del agua, valiò la pena

Everything you need for great tasting water. We did have an issue with a loss of pressure after a fewxweeks after installing the system and discovered that the valvestem in the tank was leaking air from the bladder. after replacing the valvestem and repressurizing the tank it is working normally. Just follow the instructions for great tasting drinking water. I have ran many tests with pool testing equipment and the unit performs as descibed. I highly recomend this system as it replaces the essential minerals that other systems remove.

For the money this is hands down one of the best systems. It was easy to install. The flavour of the alkaline water is great. We hooked it up to the fridge so it took a bit more to install it because of all the filling and emptying you need to do to get it set up. Before connecting it, I hooked up the faucet temporarily and drained it into the sink. The first day or two, there was a strange rubber-like flavour in the water. This is normal. The rubber bladder inside the tank needs a few cycles of expansion and contraction to loosen up. If you get that flavour or rubber, all you need to do is to completely drain the tank 2 times and then it’s gone. But make sure you drain it to the point where the water comes out as a trickle and you’ll know it’s completely empty. I have had it for 5 months and I think it’s ready for the first filter change. We have not had a single problem with the system. It does make a funny sound every once in a while but that’s just the bladder making noise. It’s a great product at a great price. Very well packaged and easy to understand instructions. It took me only 45 minutes to set it up.
